    Default Foreign-language versions of songs

When I was really young, I was in Tijuana with my mom and heard a Spanish version of "Love Will Keep us Together" playing in a shop. I was mesmerized, and have been interested in foreign-language versions of songs ever since. But I haven't heard all that many that were done by the original artist, so I'm hoping people here might reveal some more. Good or interesting cover versions would be acceptable, too. Here are a couple to get started...

I recently found Familiar Tunes with Foreign Words; this is 3 hours of foreign language versions of songs by the original artist. URI: spotify:user:sisterhavanalaylist:6K6jXbYVvIABka4FwQJwR6
    I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.

Kraftwerk cut most of their albums in both English and German.

Is 'foreign' relative to the listener or the vocalist?

mm has a version of 'Finally We Are No One' with lyrics in Icelandic, called 'Loksins Erum Vi Engin', which I am quite fond of. though since Icelandic is their native language the standard English version could be considered to be the foreign version.

I'd say the more common version is the one to use as a reference.

Yeah, it could get a little tricky with songs like Der Kommissar or 99 Luft Balloons, but I think it's fine to include stuff like that.

Nice! Some cool surprises in there.

    Meanwhile...

I Believe The Damned's version is the "foreign language version."

I always liked this one better.
