Hey Goldenvoice make this happen!
Hey Goldenvoice make this happen!
Maybe if they only promise to play their first two albums. Beautiful Garbage was alright, but the album after that completely fell off.
If bands were ok with this, we could TOTALLY invite Weezer to another Coachella. Just nothing past Pinkerton.
I think if this happened, I would literally die because of how awsome it would be
Finally some people with good taste!.
It could happen:

THIS
Have always wanted to see them live. 'Beautiful Garbage' is a great, and most likely overlooked due to there being no "hits", album (some pop songs, then getting very dark and deep the last part of the record). I'll add a vote.
100% Caffeinated
I remember Shut Your Mouth, Breaking Up the Girl, Cherry Lips, and Androgyny being played all the time even though none were big hits. The real gems on the album were "Drive You Home" and "Cup of Coffee". I loved 2.0 but this album was on par with the self titled album as far as song structure and lyrical content. I got the chance to see them that touring cycle with No Doubt and it was amazing because they played half of the album in their allotted time.

This should probably happen in some capacity. Please.
Garbage, The Cranberries, Violent Femmes....lets do this 2012!
Upcoming Shows:
Fever Ray: 5/18 @ Metro
Radiohead: 7/07 @ United Center
Smashing Pumpkins: 8/19 @ Xcel Energy Center
Metallica: 9/02 @ Kohl Center
Metallica: 9/04 @ Target Center
Metallica: 9/08 @ Alerus Center
Riot Fest: 9/14-16 @ Douglas Park
Metallica: 10/16 @ Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center
Metallica: 3/09 @ KFC Yum! Center
Saw them open for Smashing Pumpkins in 1996 and they stole the show. Saw them do a proper gig in 2002 and it was a lot of fun. I would watch them if they played.
Love it. Need it.
Would love to see Garbage at dusk on the main stage.
Anything is possible...
Saw them on their innagural tour in Columbus Ohio at Newport music hall. I was 18 at the time. Met the entire band after the show and they all signed my shirt. Shirley complimented me on my marker she signed with and batted her lashes at me (swoon) no lie. My friend was making an ass outta himself asking Butch Vig about effects used on certain tracks on Nevermind. Astonishingly Butch was happy to entertain his conversation. What a surreal moment. They were really down to earth cool people.
If Garbage were to be on the lineup, it wouldn't matter to me who else is performing, that one band would be worth the price of admission for me.
What used to be my YouTube Channel before dozens of my Coachella footage were flagged for copyright and my channel was terminated, erasing 10 years of Coachella and live concert history (that I recorded) from the internet.

Definitely an awesome live band if you haven't seen them before, Shirley Manson is just a sweet person. A few years back on the "Beautiful Garbage" tour stop @ SDSU, Manson invited everyone to pack the pit: I remember her saying something like this: "We don't come out to SoCal that often, so everyone up there in the seats, come down! Let them through security, and everyone make room for everyone else!"
The looks on everyone's face was priceless! I went from seats to right up in the front, took some awesome pictures in black and white (disposable styles).
I'm still sad The Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled.
Oh man I would kill to see Garbage play at Coachella. They always were fantastic live. Sometime at night on the outdoor would be ideal but damn they could probably play sunset on the main even.
Man I really hope Coachella gets them.
Great energy. Is Butch Vig still touring with them?
Anything is possible...
Yep.
Garbage's cover of U2's "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", included on Q magazine's compilation album of U2 covers AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered.
First song since reformation. Will be released tomorrow.
From Garbage:
"This track has nothing to do with our new record and will not be included. It is not a single. It is simply a song that happens to be a cover version that you will hear in a matter of weeks, if you care to."
