Anyone see her at *********?
Oh...forgot that was blocked. Anyone see her while she was at an large unnamed festival?
Ahahhaha
I saw her tonight in Brooklyn. Pretty much a completely straight forward pop dance show, but definitely a good one at that. Crowd was going nuts, and it seemed to have sold well, so perhaps that bodes well for her doing some more US touring.
Wish I could have gone
But good to know it went well. Hopefully they come back relatively soon!
They COULD do Coachella 2014 in California AND Moog Fest 2014 in North Carolina back to back in April, and fit in a few more shows around those festivals.

Why the fuck hasn't she played LA yet?
Last October, they played that one festival in California and a show in NY. But yes, why the hell only those 2 stateside shows?? Their Coachella opportunities keep passing by.
Anyhoo, so glad new music/videos are starting again!

I missed the nameless censored festival. ><
Fonda show stat!
Nice! This just popped up in my YT subscriptions. Totally unexpected, but I haven't been keeping up lately. I loved it. What a gorgeous setting, beautifully captured. There doesn't appear to be as much narrative immediately, but I was struck by a couple of things beyond the gorgeous shots of the beach and forests. About half-way through we quite clearly see the black box from the prior series of videos -- most prominently featured in "Goods" -- burning in the fire. "Goods" was somewhat unique in that, through the video and the lyrics themselves, Jonna appeared to be singing directly to us about the winding down of that phase of iamamiwhoami. Now, in "Fountain", we see her burning that same black box in the fire and then later, presumably, those are the ashes of the box being thrown into the ocean. Perhaps her way of saying she's back, but she won't be constrained to the same visual/aural universe of her last two works? It feels like a very respectful way to say a final goodbye to the prior era and introduce a new one. It could be all surrounding some kind of water/ocean mythology? Or maybe I'm being too obvious and literal.
Hunter? Lyrics, please.
Not sure on lyrics, mostly. I'm sure somene will type it up later.
That sounds accurate. But there's also a glass cube with water in it, too.
And I never felt the first 2 eras were every really closed. Well, more so for Bounty. I'm not clear why it ends with John and Clump, and if it's remotely related to the Kin series.
Im feeling the new track, its too bad Coachella didnt book her.
Upcoming Shows:
Fever Ray: 5/18 @ Metro
Radiohead: 7/07 @ United Center
Smashing Pumpkins: 8/19 @ Xcel Energy Center
Metallica: 9/02 @ Kohl Center
Metallica: 9/04 @ Target Center
Metallica: 9/08 @ Alerus Center
Riot Fest: 9/14-16 @ Douglas Park
Metallica: 10/16 @ Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center
Metallica: 3/09 @ KFC Yum! Center
Yes, the glass cube with water. Perhaps a cube represents a worldview/artistic universe and this new universe will be wide open and have water-related themes? I don't know. I'm reaching now.
Also, there's this. Apparently "Wave" is "a directors collective from Stockholm" and they have their own Vimeo channel. Perhaps that means they won't just be doing iamamiwhoami projects? Hmm...
Also, they are taking donations via paypal...
http://towhomitmayconcern.cc/generate/payment/
"we present a plausible path.
all proceeds generated from this voluntary donation will be used for creative purpose only.
all registered personal details will only be used in our communication with you."
Not sure how I feel about that. I'd love to support them for all the entertainment they have given me (and did so by buying the 2 physical releases of the albums/dvds), but it seems weird to just ask for money for nothing specific. But I guess all these pretty videos and such need to be paid for.

What lies beyond the fringe of the woods?
Dust to dust, so we leave for good
When all has gone to blazes
I start to run.
Until I find places where nobody’s gone
No more weight on your conscience
With ease I go back to the start
Surge like a fountain
Riptide
And swallow me
Flourish like a fountain
Inside
Gather force from the sea
Now you know it's all ripe
Hold tight
Let it wash me clean
Crawling through the thinning good
Turning head, there’s no sight of home
Though my body’s aching
We have to push on
For every start
No light is drawn
Surge like a fountain
Riptide
And swallow me
Flourish like a fountain
Inside
Gather force from the sea
Now you know it's all ripe
Hold tight
Let it wash me clean
From watching eyes
I blindly rove
To guard my stories
And find my god
Now you know it's all ripe
Hold tight
Let it wash me clean
What lies beyond the fringe of the woods?
Dust to dust, so we leave for good

For anyone who has read Chuck Palahniuk's "Haunted", hunting for pearls is an awesome and fitting title for them.
Oh God. I just read the story I assume you're referring to, "Guts". Time for some tripas tacos.
Not sure what's going on.
One Jonna is running with the black box in the snow. And other Jonna dives from one place to another.

They set up a thing called Generate on their site when the last video came out where people can donate money via credit card or paypal. It says it will go towards the work they produce. I wonder if they got enough money to make this current video.
Beyond some awesome underwater face, I'm not exactly feeling this one. First video/song of theirs that's really made me go "meh" upon first couple of viewings. I think part of is that the men in all black body suits look rather silly--can't tell if they want us to think that they're buffoons or scary monsters. I'm sure it will grow on me.
Yeah, I'm not really liking it either that much.
And the men in black look goofy.
Song is ok and may grow on me.
Just cutting and pasting someone elses idea of wtf is going on:
In ‘hunting for pearls’ when she hides behind the tree from the ‘hunters’ as some people are calling them, she closes her eyes. When she opens them she is in the dream like world, which resembles quite strongly the world crossovers in clump of dream and reality.
It’s as though Jonna in black faces a harsh reality, whereas Jonna in white sees things in a much more dreamlike state, but it’s hinted that both her reality and her fantasy are following the same path. This was heavily hinted in good worker (Car ride/being dragged by clump), In due order/play, kill, and goods. Two realities, but is one a dream and another real? Are both real? Maybe it’s all Schrödinger’s cat related somehow.
I think however we can all infer that the black box is most likely the box from Kin (goods) and contains her stories (Possibly bounty also) for which she wishes to discard yet protect. (The box burns in fountain, hinting that actually fountain may take place at the end of this audio-visual segment in the iamamiwhoami videos.
Maybe Kin is a more literal storytelling than Bounty. Maybe both tell the same story but in different ways. Personally I see them as separate, yet related.
Preludes: Preludes which build the world in which BOUNTY would take place, also hinting at the videos within it.
Bounty: Reflection on her actions/mandragora antics, and how they came about. I also have a little theory which I oddly haven’t come across before that the doll in bounty is actually the mandragora child shown in the hanging video.
Kin: Coming to terms with her demons, (the clumps) and moving past them in the afterlife (presuming heavily that she is the woman in the bath in that video which you can only access via direct link). In Kill , she rips off the bandages, showing she is no longer wounded and ready to move on. Which is of course followed by goods.
Fountain onwards: Now, all we know so far is she wants to guard (But in reality, destroy, going by my black outfit white outfit theory) her stories. These men (6 of them, once again 6 seems to be a recurring number) seem to be after her stories. It’s as though just as she has accepted her actions in her dream world, her reality is still something she must overcome.
