Daniel Bell was a ton of fun last night. Glad I ended up going.
This album ripped my soul out. I am a robot.
10/5 Function and Rrose in LA.
I hope something in SF pops up for function.
I think we could find out pretty easily. Really would like to go to LA for that show but am already going out of town so much this month.
Not that I think Function would be booked for it, but isn't Play at the End Up on the first weekends of the month?
not sure about function but boris (ostgut ton) is playing at folsom st fair the prior sunday

Ooh. Aaron's Wiggle Factory, right? He was on the patio at the Klock/Recondite show in Detroit?
No, he was in the front room. (It was the Vancouver guys on the patio early in the night). Folsom Street Fair's bookings are pretty good this year. Bummed I'm out of town for that.
I just caved and bought a flight to LA for Function/Rrose. I miss my DE friends. :P
Wiggle Factor is Atlanta, Aaron is Humanaut (Pittsburgh)
Whoa. Hercules and Love Affair is playing at Folsom this year.

Was browsing the Muting The Noise recommendations and came across the Degustibus label from Peru. The tracks i've listened to so far have been awesome.

More cerebral then relentless techno but found this mix by Kettenkarussell really enjoyable. Wish there was a tracklist. Anyone familiar with Giegling label? Worth checking out more from them?
That Voices track is huge! Where have it heard it before? It sounds so familiar...
I can't find where he mentioned it originally, but you'd all do well to check out Patrick's recommendation of Lumigraph's Nautically Inclined; very good stuff.
I've also been stuck on Rrose's entry into Stroboscopic Artefacts' Monad series which was officially released yesterday; it's certainly not as beat-driven as Waterfall Variations is but goddamn there is some really interesting stuff going on in these four tracks. Here's a sampler: https://soundcloud.com/stroboscopicartefacts/sam016
So I'm going to Amsterdam for Amsterdam dance event the 17th-20th of October and was looking for some feedback on what I should see Saturday. It looks like Max Cooper, Adam Beyer or Magda/Maya Jane Coles/Maetrik are the best options for that day but you guys know more than I do. What do you think?
Mathew Jonson & Minilogue 3 hour set live/Prosumer/Levon Vincent/Third Side/Convextion for breakfast
The Kompakt showcase would be fun.
Oh, wait. Speedy J/ROD/DVS1/Lucy/Black Asteroid.
Nevermind: Sandrien/Peter van Hoesen/Rodhad/Young Macro/Motor City Drum Ensemble/DJ Sprinkles. that's a nice mix of some techno and house.
Holy crap there's a ton of great lineups that night! I would skip Max Cooper/Adam Beyer and the Magda/Maya Jane because you've likely seen them and they're likely to play the states with some frequency.
Yea, even the official Max Cooper fan club says skip him. MCDE and Sprinkles in the same showcase? I am jealous.
Another reminder of all the cool shit we are missing out in Europe
indeed. yeah that mcde/sprinkles/rodhad show should be the priority.
I've never heard of Sandrien, Rodhad, Young Macro or DJ Sprinkles. Any suggestions for what to listen to?
