Found this guy from the Erol forum. Dutch do it better?
I would definitely pick TW, too, but let's see how it sorts out.
hopefully they do the right thing and bring in some reinforced sound for tw
Rhythm is a dancer.
The venue where it 'could' be had decent sound, from what I recall. But like I said, we should stop speculating and give the promoter a chance to get the deets together and announce it.![]()
i mean... nobody except maybe 30 people read this. i expect whats said here to be kept among us. same venue, same sound system

On another note - GATF looks like it was a great time. Definitely going to try and make it out in the future. Who would you guys say played the best set?
video is private!!!
urgh...its a hard call. Honestly Mike Parker did it for me. But Rrose, KMS and Oona did great as well. Jason Short and Deepak Sharma also brought it, but in a different sense. Sinistarr played a dope dnb set and Hilary Warner, a dope house set.
but yea, Mike Parker.

Came here to post something off of Robert Hood's new album and it's already being discussed. This is good.
I would absolutely LOVE to have some of the techboardies out to Denver for this event. Please be sure to let me know if you can make it!

how was andy stott at nuit noire, anyone who went?
for all the talk it got beforehand, nobody's said anything about it.
Andy Stott was incredible at decibel. Probably my favorite set of the weekend.
Nuit Noire as a whole was for me the best non festival night of music I've had so far this year. Stott and Kanding Ray were both extremely impressive and I really wish they'd both been given more than an hour (same for Demdike Stare).
Roughsteez will probably be able to review much better than I can, but it really was an outstanding night of music.

Stott was really good live. He played a few tracks off We Stay Together and dropped that Blondes remix for a little, which was warm and welcome. Hypnotic is the best word to describe his set.
I was really tired after Stott performed but shit Kangding Ray perked me up quick. That man is incredible live, I mean, I knew he wouldn't disappoint but he took the night to another level. His live sound was much closer to his Monad release than OR and the system at the loft complemented that perfectly. See this man if you have a chance.

^^^ going to second that. Kangding Ray played a very very impressive set at dB. See him if you have the chance.
What did you think? Just saw him at dB on Sunday night and it was absolutely fantastic. Only wish it had been a longer set. I have tickets to see him twice more on this tour, and I'd thought that would be overkill and that I'd probably bail on one or both of the remaining shows but now I definitely want to see the show a couple more times.
^ Caught Beaner once or twice in SF (from whence he came, if I'm not mistaken). Great record bag.
Looking for an ID on a track that Derek Plaslaiko dropped as he was handing off to Peter Van Hoesen on Friday last. The drums were very distinctive, akin to something you might expect from a civil war era military band. Strange, I know, but that's the best i can do as far as descriptions go. Seemed a bit silly at first but it absolutely CRUSHED the dancefloor ... not unlike SIS's Trompeta from a few years back.
abdulla tour in 2013- yupyup
