Coming down for that if I opt out of Decibel.
Coming down for that if I opt out of Decibel.
I might jet down to LA for that myself.

I couldn't agree with you more. I've been jammin out to Ready and Prism all week--except Dakou, not feelin' that song.

Yeah I picked up that 12". Prism is such an awesome track.
Getting really excited for Rrose next week. His music gives me the biggest techno boner.
Posted Rrose related material in the mnml techno review group for anyone interested.

They got some fun stuff in store.
And if you've never been to a Wiggle Factor (ATL) show, well then check this out. Why dub is playing in this video is beyond me, but you'll get the point:

We have flights, accommodation and tickets to give away.
The second annual Great American Techno Festival is just around the corner. Due to land in Denver on September 13th, the four-day event will play host to an assorted cast of local and interstate names across several of the city's club spaces, with Detroit's Keven Saunderson and Buffalo's Mike Parker among those at the top of the bill. The long list of confirmed acts also includes John Tejada, Drumcell and Raiz from California, Sandwell District producer Rrose and Brooklyn's Donor. Additionally, organisers have enlisted a hefty batch of Denver locals for slots (Mick Finesse, Brandon Brown and Greg Eversoul are three of those).
We'd like to send an RA reader to the party with a friend. One winner will receive two festival passes, return travel for two from anywhere in the United States to Denver (thanks to Southwest Airlines) and three nights accommodation for two at the ultra-suave Jet Hotel in the city's lower downtown district. But if you miss out on the main prize, don't sweat it. One runner up will receive a full version of Ableton Live 8, while another will receive $50 in Beatport store credit. Not bad, right?
Prizes
One grand-prize winner will receive:
- Two passes to the Great American Techno Festival
- Return flights for two from anywhere in the United States to Denver, courtesy of Southwest Airlines
- Three nights accommodation at The Jet Hotel
One runner-up will receive:
- One full version of Ableton Live 8
One runner-up will receive:
- One $50 Beatport voucher

Rrose was absolutely ridiculous last night. Easy the best techno I have heard all year. Dude (who looks like a lady btw) is going places.
In other news - I just finished this track:
Think you guys will dig this one.
Rrose is a spectacular live act. Definitely in my top 3 for the year.
In no particular order: Rrose, AtomTM & Tobias, Svengalisghost
For those unfamiliar w/ Svengalisghost ...

This thread, to be honest. I'm with you. I like didn't even know that RRose was releasing anything until it popped in here.

Personally, I don't know of any website's that compile new/upcoming techno releases. I just follow labels and artists, dig through Discogs, search through What.cd, a few blogs/websites like Smoke Machine/TEA/FACT/RA, and a bunch of other smaller blogs that I 'like' on Facebook. It's just a matter of keeping up with the same watering holes. I would definitely attribute the lack of an aggregator to the sheer volume of releases, I mean there is too much shit coming out all the time.
Edit: And this thread helps too.
