That set crushes.
That set crushes.
I was definitely implying that you did something wrong, as it is almost 3 hours when downloaded properly :P
but honestly that is one of the worst mixes I've seen in a while, how is that tracklist not complete garbage??? It's no different than 2007 when everyone jumped on the ed banger/electro-house bandwagon and millions of identical mixes containing Justice, Sebastian and that awful MSTRKRFT remix kept popping up, but now it's Maceo Plex, Soul Clap, etc.
I like when people read their ignore lists posts. Just not in this sweet thread.
Yes, because the tone of my post was *clearly* to suggest that mix to the thread on something of the level of the Lucy, Jackmaster, etc, mixes we've been talking about. Christ, I was not even actually suggesting it to the thread. Did I not already comment myself on the track list, in fact?
Suppose I'll take you off ignore once you have something worth while to share, and yes, yes, you're right marooko, I should just leave it off the thread. Now go listen to that Max Cooper recording.
I'm late to the party and haven't gotten off page one yet. Though I'd be happy to jump around if you'd be so kind as to point me to the one you're talking about. I see at least three. But from the talk, I should make it a point to listen to all three.
Sure, you should listen to all three (keep in mind that I'm incredibly obsessed with and biased regarding this guy). But specifically the one at the bottom of the last page.
Too bad, I'm gonna judge your entire existence on that mix. You'd better hope it's good. You know, cause my opinion counts. <--joke. Gonna check it out right now while I clean.
Totally tripped the fuck out at 14:37. HA!

I am completely comfortable with my existence being judged by that set. I love it that much. (FWIW, the shows I saw were quite a bit longer, and I think a little better, but it's a great indication of what he is doing live. I didn't care for the ending that much on this one but neither of the live shows I saw ended that way so...).
I skipped through part of it and wasn't too sure, but I decided to go on and listen. I'm a little over half way through and am enjoying it.
No idea. I love that album.
is this mnml?
yay or nay, i still love it

Wow. Lucy is a master of the decks; one of the best dj's I've seen.
SF you're in for a treat, I really wish I could get the time off to drive up next weekend. That was just insane.
That's great to hear. I'm pretty excited for Friday!
Lucy was pretty good, the venue was cool. a grow-op just right off the 10,
I was really surprised by how incredibly bearable the crowd was for LA.
I'm jealous you guys got to go. I was stuck down in San Diego working.
Stoked for Surgeon though. Holy shit.

I only saw the act directly before Lucy (bald asian guy) but he threw down really well for being an opening dj, not the most inventive tracks but he worked the crowd really well.

Halfway there guys, c'mon out to the West Coast!
Also, why the fuck doesn't Silent Servant play out here more often? Has he moved to Europe?
New Synkro podcast for RA is fucking great:
Those Bunker shows are always insane. I wanted to go to the Optimo/Luke Hess one they held this past weekend.
Yeah, the lineups are always impressive. Though on occasion they come up w/ something otherworldly. This is one of those occasions.
I know that SF has Juju and Jordash splitting a bill w/ DVS1 in March. Hope we get some of the Sandwell District guys round the same time. Fear its unlikely but I've heard whispers of a proper Sandwell District (Function + Regis) show sometime later in the year.
Yea I'm really looking forward to the DVS1/Juju/Jordash show. And I'm starting to feel like I made a mistake regarding this upcoming weekend... Meat Katie instead of Optimo...
