I think they would be a PERFECT band to play. Could they headline? I know I would be stoked if they did...
Cooler than a polar bears toenails.
Nah, not a headliner. Sub.
I agree, I'd be happy to have them on as subs. I caught them Saturday night and they played some new stuff. Legit.

As a huge Wilco fan I support this
Though it would feel a little empty only seeing them play a 50-70 minute set
Feel the same way
Do their Jan/Feb southern Cali days make this a no?

Yes, 6 shows in california 2 months before would take them out of the running.
Isn't it supposed to be their last tour? I finally saved enough money to get tickets and now the LA show is sold out. I see why it makes them less than likely, but does it completely rule them out? If it actually is their last tour, that would still draw well at Coachella despite the 6 shows...right? just looking for some hope here.

it's their last tour?
Had not heard that. Can't find anything on it either.
Never heard anything about this being their last tour. Anything is possible, though...
Anything is possible...
Then don't quote me on that, I don't want to start any rumors, I thought I had read somewhere that they wanted to focus on garnering more bands for their new label and this would be the last tour for a while...it's definitely possible I read too far into that. My bad.

I saw Wilco tonight in Palm Desert. Surprisingly the relatively small venue (1,127 seats) was not sold out. Tickets were $40-$50, a very modest price. Their show lasted a full 2 hours and was very tight and very good. One of my best concerts of 2012.
