Sonicc is saying that Angello looked out at the crowd and said to himself, "this crowd is shitty. Is everyone on drugs or something? I guess I will just scrap the impeccable set I had lined up and play terribly. Let's do this. Airhorn me."

The only reason people were there for his set is because he is part of SHM, you could obviously tell that by the reactions to "Miami 2 Ibiza", "One", and that horrendous mash-up of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike of "Barbra Streisand".
So yes, at least for Steve Angello, the Sahara was full of a bunch of idiots who know nothing about EDM.
American DJs are known for not playing their most commercial tracks at festivals, however.

When Jack Beats played their remix of Shutterbug I was like, ugh, typical European DJ dropping their typical commercially successful hit. They want me to wobble to this? As if.

I listen to everything from Afrojack to Ricardo Villalobos. You can't appreciate EDM until you've listened to different styles of the genre.
I was there for Steve Angello because I've listened to him since '04, way before the whole "Swedish House Mafia" sensation started. Back when it was 4 members and the 4th member was Eric Prydz.
This thread is hilarious despite being titled after possible tragedy. Personally I thought the Sahara lineup sucked this year, just didn't appeal to my taste at all.

We ran into a guy from GV on Monday morning. They were checking tents that people leave behind. He said they occasionally find dead bodies in the tents and have to check all the left behind tents like crime scenes. Fortunately no dead bodies, but we did score some free (and new) camping gear that some people apparently didn't want to haul back to France.
They guys are so generous.
But seriously... dead bodies left in tents, not cool. We got some Emily Rose shit going on here.
