Or at least eat some now, some a couple of hours later...

I always got a little smile on my face every time the gold line past the park.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Another FYF Afterparty of sorts happening tonight:
Dan Deacon / Future Islands / Lucky Dragons at Sean Carnage Pehrspace TONIGHT!
Special wristbands will only be able to attend, so probably best show up early! $5 bucks
Coachella 01' - 13', '15 and still counting..... 14th year!!!! Geez, I'm getting old..
Explosions in the Sky put on one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I was highly disappointed with the festival up until Broken Social Scene, Simian Mobile, and Explosions in the Sky who all murdered it... everyone else sounded like shit with abysmal mixing (save for Japandroids maybe).
Melted bars can be dangerous. You cant really tell how much you've eaten.
FYF was fun got there late though because my friends like they usually do lagged it. Like everyone said everything was well run but that fucking dust was horrible. I had to sit out the end of DFA because i was dying. I think my highlights were hearing BSS play shampoo Suicide(was really hoping for feist but that didnt happen), and watching SMD for the first time. I could have drank more but my broke ass still has to get used to paying 6 bucks for a beer. I saw the end of the decendents. I ran into my friend who i didn't expect to be there because this guy usually doesn't go to shows and hates being around a shit load of people, but this guy was drenched in sweat and looked pretty fucking tired so im sure they probably played a good show if he went as crazy as he did.
DFA above was fun last night. I wasn't expecting to go but my friend got me in for free with after party wristbands but Jessie and Sebastian left after the show so nothing really happened there. But i do agree that DFA is more of an indoor Venue type of band because it was crazy in there last night. Lots of fun. I don't know how i got a bruise in my armpit, but that thing fucking hurts.
got there around 11:30 parked in a $5 lot and walked a few blocks to get in line. line was long but got in the park fairly quick. i opened my pack of cigarettes in line because i'm an idiot. didn't get searched though so it as alright.
twin sister: ruled.
walked over to the beer tents and watched an ok set from tijauna panthers. got a few more beers and a good spot for ty segall. he fucking ruled hard, i've seen him play in a smaller venue and the energy was cool but the setlist on saturday was amazing. hit the bathrooms and went over to see smith westerns. they put on one of my favorite sets of the day. i got a crazy sunburn on my neck during their set though. got a tofu bi-bum burrito and a slice of pizza while watching cults and hanging out in the shade. after food i walked around checking stuff out and sat in the beer garden for cold war kids. then got a good spot for bss. they were really disappointing. they're a band that you have to see in a venue. every festival set i see from them is a bummer. headed over to girls and watched them destroy. the backup singers were perfect. sat through guided by voices for a good spot at descendents.
descendents played a near perfect set. wish it was longer.
watched dfa from the benches. all of the technical difficulties were annoying. went to meet up with everyone that i came with and all of our phones died at the same time. my group got hassled by security so they all met up at the car. i bought kettle corn and met everyone at the car. huzzah.
i kept tripping out on much better the festival was compared to last year. HUGE improvement.
YΔCHT were easily the best set of the night for me. Claire grabbed me by the head and eye-fucked me. I felt like a tween at a Bieber concert for the rest of the set.
Olivia Tremor Control's vocals were too low, but it didn't really matter. That imperfection just made the experience better. 40 minutes wasn't enough! Bought myself a shirt of theirs at the end of the night; it's my new favorite.
I got kneed in the head during Kid Dynamite. It didn't feel good.
I napped during Explosions in the Sky. That was quite enjoyable. I forgot what I dreamed, but I remember it was lucid and amazing.
the feist townhouse surprise show made me think she would join broken social scene at fyf and accept my marriage proposal and stuff.
Damn it, I forgot to look for their records.
I know the tent was small and packed but did anyone else check out Future Islands? What a killer set and a great crowd.

It's just Smith Westerns, FYI
http://www.myspace.com/kroqken and I pick one stage and stay all day. I am a "stander", not a "walker."
At the Fonda show DFA literally played every song they've recorded except Sexy Results and My Love is Shared. Pretty awesome: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/death-...-53d0c7e5.html
