Although I wish there was more than one water fountain in the entire park. I mean come on, thats just evil when its a million degrees out like it was last year.

DFA1979 killed it at Coachella. But my wife was almost killed from Dehydration at FYF. Hmmm...
i really don't give 2 flying fucks about how disorganized it is. i'll even pay double the normal price to see those 2 bands there.
Anybody ever do VIP at FYF? is there any benefit?

Doesn't sound that great:
VIP Ticket holders will receive access to the VIP Lounge located between the Redwood and Sequoia stages and VIP will ENTER THROUGH A SEPARATE ENTRANCE. The VIP Lounge will be hosted by A Club Called Rhonda and the Cha Cha Lounge, the best bar in LA. Inside treat yourself to a full bar experience which includes top shelf liquor and a wide selection of beer at bar prices, plenty of shade which makes a perfect place to relax at the festival and food trucks exclusive to this area. Get your VIP tickets and the make the best day of summer even better. VIP tickets are will call only. You must be 21+.

ROFL!
Who do they think they're kidding....
haha
Two weeks. Two weeks till the line up goes public. Only two more weeks. Who do you think is playing??? Ace of Base, ICP, Naughty by Nature??
Explosions In the Sky have dates in Big Sur and I believe San Diego sandwiched right between this. I don't want to get hopes up, though, but I would think that with DFA1979 and Descendents, that might be the top line.
I'm hoping OFF! plays this year again also, maybe some Zola Jesus. Asking for Fucked Up would probably be too much at this point huh?
Everyone talks a bunch of shit on how poorly fyf is run, but I've been for the past 2 years and have had absolutely no problems getting in.
Maybe it's just because all you guys show up later in the day and have to deal with that?
I've seen some great bands at FYF, and it's only 20 bucks. That's a sweet ass deal.
I'm attending this year for the first time and making a little trip out from the east coast. What problems do people have not getting in? Also, do tickets sell out really quickly? I'm going to get them as soon as they go on sale but is it one of those things where you need to be on the ball to get them? I feel like for $25, DFA1979 on top of Descendents and maybe EITS alone might cause that.
Deal with what? It was a mess to BEGIN the day last year. Gates not opening til an hour and a half AFTER scheduled time?
When I went in 2009, no problems at all getting in, and I showed up at about 3pm.
It wont be $25 with DFA, Desendents and EITS on the line up, thats for sure.
