Add her to Friday, Coachella. HAHAHAHA
Add her to Friday, Coachella. HAHAHAHA
What used to be my YouTube Channel before dozens of my Coachella footage were flagged for copyright and my channel was terminated, erasing 10 years of Coachella and live concert history (that I recorded) from the internet.

Gawker has some more info, apparently she's 13 which explains why all the driving have a stationary car.
Also, a 30 something black rapper cruising outside a middle school playground looking a group of 13 year old white chicks. Was this a better idea at the ARK label head office than in practice?

This is her official bio.
Lance Radziej really sums up my emotions about this gem:
You're song "Friday" is inspirational. Period. It includes all the makings of a hit: 1) it's educational (teaches the days of the week), 2) it incorporates real life issues that everyone struggles with (which seat to take), 3) it's fun (even repeats the word "fun").
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's
5/25-27: Sasquatch

I think the Friday music video even surpasses this little "gem" from a decade ago. Though knowing the singer later became a meth head either makes it sad or even more hilarious.
Also, I really miss Ed The Sock's old show on Much every year. Still watch the 4-5 I have on VHS.

Some background on who's financing these songs/videos. Delusional rich families who think their kid is really talented.
i sure hope someone on Friday busts out a great and unexpected cover of this. i think this is my favorite song of the week now. It has brought me too much joy.
Amazing that she had enough time to wake up at 7am, eat cereal and straighten her hair, all within an hour or so before leaving the house.
Looool

I think the "rapper" appears in every one of those tween videos - it appears to be funded by gullible parents that are trying to buy their kids an entertainment career. Can you even buy a physical copy of this song on cd?
In other words, a viral internet hit could be detrimental to this record company scam once word gets out.
Have you welcomed our lord and savior Rebecca Black into your heart today?
