No idea what time we're going, yet, but I think we could be there as early as 5:30-6, but now that we have an opener, that doesn't seem necessary.

Does anyone know if you walk through metal detectors to get into the arena at shows?

For Warriors games you do have to walk through metal detectors, however, i think that may be an NBA policy.

Yesterday at the WWE PPV event (got free tickets for being a seat filler) we did not have to walk through metal detectors.

i've not ever walked through a metal detector for a show there. they will look into your bag/purse and, sometimes, give you a pat down. it is pretty chill, normally...and i suspect for a Prince show, will follow suit.

GCS opened for Prince the night I saw him at MSG in December. They were on point. Came in as a marching band, lol. Played a couple Sly & the Family Stone hits, and Prince even joined them on stage.

Btw, those of you who haven't met me yet, if you see me, say hi.

I will be wearing a purple shirt with sequins, purple glasses, purple feathers in my hair, and purple makeup not entirely unlike a drag queen would wear. (And I have curly long red hair).
