man, seeing them with Coachella sound is going to fucking rule.
You mean louder? They use the same PA that Coachella rents for the festival. Coachella just has MORE of it.
oh. All I know is no venue/arena sound system compares to the quality that I've heard come out of Coachella's speakers. Yeah some sets are off, but god damn I love it and think it makes everyone that much better. Now I'm probably wrong and someone can provide specifics for why something's better, but I'm sticking to it.
God damn it. I've got to stop checking this thread. Wish they were playing one more So Cal gig. Ah well...
Chris, I've lost track. How many radiohead shows is this for you now? (This is Erica. We met at ATP)
Back off war child.
Talk Show Host needs to make its way into the setlists.
I think people who sit there and record an entire show with their fucking hands up to their face holding a camera or an iphone is more annoying than somebody texting discreetly during a show. I use my phone for work/personal stuff so sometimes I have no choice but to text during a show, I do try my hardest not to but if I need to I will cover it up as much as I can, and although it is rare I have been approached by some fucking concert nerds before to stop texting and I have never had a problem advising them to go fuck themselves as well as their mother.
I don't get why people have a problem with somebody who doesn't have their absolute 100% undivided attention focused on the stage during a show... Mind your business, get a life, and get the fuck over it.
I don't mind when someone snaps a photo or two with their phone.... but facebook status updates? Good god.
well what the shit. When I'm in the air, this goes down...... Onsale march 10th.....

Yessss... This is what I have been waiting for... Fuck arena shows.
I much prefer Radiohead arena shows to sheds
They belong outdoors. It took until 2010 for me to see them indoors. Main reason its arenas is the stage....
Speaking of which, how are those screens going to work at Coachella? Is it going to be too windy for them to move? Will they be stationary for those shows?
