Space Is Only Noise is only noise. Very "background music".
couldn't disagree with you more, as usual : )
i think severely eclectic genre-crossing albums are difficult to get acclimated to because you're whipped out of every framework by which you ordinarily conceptualize--left with muck. i find things that don't seem great at first usually end up having more longevity. i can hear elements of dub/country/glitch/jazz/house/electro/soul/classical, all somehow integrated cohesively using some fairly unique effects and samples. he pulls it off. the track bleed, bubbly bouncy liquid texture kind of glues it together. i love "i got a woman" and "variations". once my ear made a roadmap, lines are colored in more and more each time i listen...
idmy trip hop gold for me
i'm sure i'll post something you will like eventually, dev : )
