Leftfield should be in the sahara I would switch them with the presets and then the presets with OFF!

I think what you have with the main stage and the outdoor theatre is the right idea. Nas and Damian during the Strokes seems like a no brainer and I agree with Wiz Khalifa on the main earlier in the day. Still not sure what to do with ratatat although you might have it right where you have them.

Trentemoller is waaaaaaaaaaay too early. Presets wouldn't go from headliner to 7pm in 2 years time (although the poster does makes me wonder).

axwell says he's headlining the sahara so one would think he will close it although he may be talking about billing.

agreed. I really want to see him too. but I couldn't figure him into the Sahara in a way that made sense. Unless he closes the Sahara vs. Kanye.. which, I would be more than fine with.

perhaps joy orbison will be part of the PF area...

i'd maybe switch the presets and ratatat straight up.

    switch pj and DFA.

swap trentemøller into leftfield's slot, then have leftfield closing out after axwell.

An assumption though that they will get the same amount of time.

I can totally see The Strokes getting the longer 70 minute set that MBV and Pavement have had in the past years, and them being completely fine with it. Knowing how they like their short sets anyways.

By the looks of his production it could possibly be on the outdoor

I say move Ratatat down. I don't think(and hope) they will conflict with Kanye. Maybe put them where you have Nas and Marley, and then move them two between Chromeo and DFA. That way it would be Chromeo > Nas & Damian Marley > DFA > Ratatat > PJ Harvey.

Or it could even be Chromeo > Nas & Damian Marley > Ratatat > DFA > PJ Harvey.

I think either DFA or PJ must close the outdoor because they're both on the second line in the poster.

Will Strokes actually bother to play much more than an hour? They didn't when they had 3 albums and doing headlining shows 5 years ago.

yeah, i could see dfa > pj at the outdoor, with dfa starting right after the strokes end at the main stage.

Its hard to tell, theres the new album and everything, but I keep reading articles about tension between the band and Casablancas, so I guess we will just see how they end up. He even said the main reason they did Lollapalooza last year was for the money, heh. Oh well, I'll take what I can get to live out my jr high school dream, haha.

Yeah that would totally work. It would make the most sense for DFA to start after The Strokes.

Nas and Damian Marley vs the Strokes makes too much sense to change it. Don't mess with that part. Also agree with the others about the Strokes I think they will get an hour and 10 minutes or so.

Leftfield and Sven Vath are both older names that I think would have a large fanbase; I don't see them conflicting. I don't know if its relevant enough for GV to care, but just a thought.

Trentemoller at 4.... I have extreme doubts on that one. It's obvious that GV/PT are stoked on that booking as it was the first video posted. If he plays any earlier than 7 I will be surprised.

Also, Leftfield are highly likely to play the Sahara as well, as others have said.

Switch DFA1979 & Ratatat. Leftfield of course goes into the Sahara with The Presets out. Have The National play between the headliners on the Outdoor and put Nas & Damian Marley in their spot. Switch Lightning Bolt and Fistful of Mercy too.

Get ready to be surprised. GV posting Trentemoller as their first of what, 4 (and only 3 actually confirmed) videos does not mean he's getting a late night slot on an already packed Sahara day. They posted videos of bands that had little to no internet speculation about them playing at the festival. It has nothing to do with set times.

If he plays late at night, it won't be in the Sahara.

Ok, fuck the video. Let's just base it on the fact that Trentemoller will be a live act vs most of the DJ's of the day. It is possible he gets the Glitch Mob spot from last year. BUT! Unlike them, you can actually dance to Trentemoller.

Whatever the case, 4 seems a very unlikely spot for him. Just sayin'.

I know no one cares enough about them to say anything... but they won't schedule She Wants Revenge so late again. Last time they played, they conflicted with Daft Punk. I really do not think they will conflict with either The Strokes or Kanye.

The Strokes won't play for 90 minutes. I went to their Melbourne gig 6 months ago, they played for 55 minutes (14 or 15 songs, no interaction). So they take out some of the dead weight in that set, add some new songs and BAM 60 minute set.

Animal Collective - Cage the Elephant - Wire
Two Door Cinema Club - the Kills - Elbow
