*At the Goldenvoice Executive Board Room - AKA Paul's studio apartment*
Intern: So I kept trying to call Daft Punk's agent, but they said they aren't ready yet.
Tollet shoots the intern in the face.
Intern #2: Sir, I've already spoken with Skrillex's people and they would love to close out the main stage on both Friday, this could definitely help sell out both weekends. He said he'd do it for free if we allow KoRn in the Mojave tent Saturday night any hour time slot from 8pm till the end of the festival.
*Tollet reflects briefly*
Intern #3: And Bassnectar said he would love to play again too! I read it on his twitter!
*Tollet shoots intern #3, while intern #2 shakes with fear.*
Tollet: Skrillex, eh.... Dani, what sayeth "The Board"
*Dani writes the answer on a post-it and passes it to intern #4.
Intern #4 reads the note, slowly: "People will make several threads of distaste, but most likely will still go."
Tollet: Excellent! Skrillex on the main it is, oh and get Datsik to close the Sahara again!

I would read your book on this. Please continue.
He is literally the poster boy for EDM in America. Even more so than Deadmau5 maybe now.
Good job everyone for making him a prime choice for festivals to come
Keep this thread going I'm sure Sonny appreciates the free promotion!

Skrillex is Skrilla Dilla - sad but true
The only two times I've knowingly heard Skrillex were a) briefly seeing some of his set at Coachella 2011. Confused, not entirely disgusted by what I heard and b) the song that Beavis and Butthead make fun of.
So, if I were to listen to Skrillex to determine on my own his relative worth, what should I be listening to?
Is nothing sacred Skrillex?!
Edit: And after listening to that - he actually stuck to concepts of dubstep...
There was a very dubby beat, yes the wobble sound sure, but this is something I would imagine Rusko would do more than Skrilly Dilly
Fuck, I mean - Skrillex had a beat.
I'm figuring Damian Marley made sure it wasn't god awful
This actually sticks too heavy dubstep style beats, prob my fave track by him
Paul is dead
