The lack of an Elbow date is making me nervous.
.
oh stop. don't you want to share one of these shows with me....haha.
Updated... But I wish this said "Elbow" instead of "Two Door Cinema Club"
04/14 - Two Door Cinema Club - Fillmore

Would you guys recommend catching PJ Harvey then driving to Coachella right after?
I have no problem not getting any sleep, but want to be at the fest for most of the day Fri. So if I left SF right after the show, I could get to Indio by morning-ish. But how bad is the traffic coming in at the time? It seems not worth it.
But the club show will probably be longer, so this is tough.
Thats pretty rockstar. I'd say its about a 7 to 8 hour drive from SF to Indio so you would be driving all night. The show will probably end by 11, so you could get to Indio around 6 if everything goes well. Just make sure that you get enough rest before hand so that you are safe on the road. If you have a co-pilot that would be very helpful. Good luck.

Is it safe to assume a Strokes show at the Fox on the 15th? And what is the likely hood of getting a Chems show? I know they were here over the summer so I highly doubt they would do another show this early.
I wouldn't hold my breath for a Chemical Brothers show.

I'm not sure what the traffic is like coming into Indio on Friday, but I'm sure if you timed it so that you're past the LA metro before or after rush hour -- but early enough beat the festival day trippers traffic into the venue you would be fine.
While I haven't done it for Friday morning, we've done the SF show -> hit the road thing, in order to get there for camping. Have even had time to grab a couple of hours of sleep in a cheap hotel (when the car was too packed to stretch out), having a co-pilot to help with the drive would make it a lot easier.
Of course you may be totally useless on Friday.
All I want is a Suede show far enough from the weekend that I can go to.
Thats all.
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."
