Mainstage FTW (if that's for real)
The real benefit to DFA being on the main stage is the sound system. I'm prepared to be destroyed. I feel bad for whoever is against them on the Outdoor.
Seriously I am really, really, really pumped about that news. Plus being at 6pm there will be no artist for me to worry about conflicting, well maybe except for Duck Sauce.

If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella
Why's that a buzzkill? It's still gonna get crazy as all hell when they play. And like others said, it's a good thing they're on the main stage instead of the Outdoor Theatre which is notorious for several sound problems over the years. And putting DFA in a tent would've just been stupid.
I can't wait to get in that pit for them.
I'm guessing moshing at night would've resulted in a few too many serious injuries.
i agree with rage.
these songs on the main, with sunlight, with the majority of the crowd being stage campers there all day no matter who is playing....ugh.
however, this will make conflicts much more manageable.
so in the end, i might be for it.

Should've had Animal Collective's slot. Fucking epic set!
I waiting for the Nas signing to hurry up so I could see DFA 1979 (first in line). He never came. Damn you Nas
Nas' set was decent. But as soon as he was done I booked it to the front. Fortunately, I was pushed into the moshpit. Fucking awesome!!!!. Words can't explain how brutal it was. The man in the bunny suit was bad ass. Hahah. Props to him.
Great set. I bet there was lots of fingering of butts going on in that wild crowd. The security folks did an awesome job of catching the body surfers.
Which reminded me of something quite unrelated - that attention whore old woman with the rainbow colored hair who is always in VIP, posing for cameras, and is as ugly as my unshaven butt - someone threw a full bottle of piss at her (the piss stayed in the bottle) just before or after DFA came on. That was incredibly awesome.
Exhausting. I was fourth row middle, getting destroyed with everyone else. I had planned to camp there for the rest of the day but had to leave after to get water and rest. Best set of the fest.
