That was an insane weekend too.

Great weekend. my only Vegoose sadly was the last Vegoose. One day i would like to revisit the photo thread i made for it. First to complete it and second to re edit the pictures (my style and tools have changed a lot in 3 years).

Best Coachella day? Still got to mull over the International Noise Conspiracy>Pixies>Radiohead>Kraftwerk from 2004 with the MGMT>Bonde Do Role>Kate Nash>Hot Chip>Kraftwek>Portishead>Calvin Harris>Yelle>Prince from 2008.

Hmm, Saturday 2006: Rob Dickinson>Platinum Pied Pipers>Hybrid w/ Perry>Wolfmother>Kanye West>Sigur Ros>Ladytron>Eagles of Death Metal>Depeche Mode>Daft Punk should be in my running.

I don't know if I'd call it best day ever lineup wise, but my best coachella experience day ever was Saturday, April 27 2002

The Beta Band, Bjork, Lee Burridge, Cake, Charlatans UK, The Chemical Brothers, Citizen Cope, Cornershop, DJ Z-Trip, Folk Implosion, Forest for the Trees, G. Love & Special Sauce, Groove Armada, Jack Johnson, Jimmy Van M., Jurassic 5, Kosheen, KRS-One, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Pharcyde, Princess Superstar, Queens of the Stone Age, Sasha & John Digweed, Saul Williams, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Vines and Pete Yorn.

It was one of those days where everything was hitting on all cylinders--everyone in our group was on the same page and it being my first time seeing Bjork certainly didn't hurt.

I was there in 99 but didn't really know what to make of the whole thing. I went again to the single day coachella in 2001. It was OK. It wasn't until 2002 that I really started to get it and maybe that's why I have such great memory for that year.

Sat. 99-the Chemical Bros. on the Main Stage was unlike anything I had seen before. There have been plenty of other great days of music but that night was a revelation. I have been back every year since.

The sweet thing about TGTBTQ that night, is that it was probably the smallest crowd I've ever seen at the Outdoor Stage. Maybe just a couple hundred at the most, a very intimate performance..

For me it was Fri 2009 (been since 2008)
The Black Keys (1st half) -> The Ting Tings -> Franz Ferdinand -> NASA -> Ghostland Observatory -> Girl Talk -> The Presets -> 1st part of Crystal Method -> Paul McCartney

I've also been to the last 3 and concur that Friday 2009 would get my vote.
