That would be a pretty cool corner to live on. Vinegar with tabasco peppers added, aged in oak barrels actually.
Cholula, Tapatio, Siracha etc. and salsas are all great on Mac & Cheese (and everything else). However my favorite hot sauce ever is this yellow or green stuff called "Aji" that you get in Peru, nom nom nom nom nom.
I never really liked the flavor of Tobasco, I prefer this.
It's not as hot as you think, just a few dabs will take care of business.

this thread inspired my lunch. my hungover body is happy.
also, when I came back with my mac n cheese I found a co-worker microwaving some mac n cheese. strange things are happening.
in terms of hot sauce Tapatío is where it's at.
Also, wings with bleu cheese are the best. Those who think ranch is better are just kidding themselves.

I have literally been fantasizing about that recipe you posted all day, Tom. I'm going to make it. But maybe after I go on a long hike or something so I feel less guilty about engorging my face with so much cheese. And ranch.

bwahaha. so true.
deluxe, not the powdery crap!
I've made that recipe, it's ace. it contains ingredients people were raving about on their mac - bleu cheese, panko crumbs, & bacon. haven't tried adding ranch.
I put lemon juice on my rice-a-roni.
The rest of you are just nasty...

Because eating ranch straight is so socially frowned upon that I've had to develop coping methods, Ivy. Once the gays get all their civil rights in order, me and all condiment as primary food advocates will be taking to the streets.
