Also, as I mentioned to Supre last night, I'm kind of surprised it is not 3 days...but I suppose that will wait for 2012, lets see them iron out some kinks before turning into an all out 3 day festival of electro insanity.

Yeah 3 days might be too much for them to handle right after this years event. Let's see how they go about fixing the issues that came about last year, then petition for a 3rd day of madness haha.
I went to HARD summer and was completely impressed with the organization. Security was excellent, parking was reasonable, and the line-up was superb. The production wasn't anything close to what insomniac puts on, but if they keep putting on events like this with out all the negative media attention I'm sure that they will continue up their game with each event.
If it's a three-day event then it should start on Thursday
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall

just purchased mine
Paul is on baby watch, I dont know why he would go out that night, with the wifey ready to pop.
EDC Thread turned Salvation Thread, I love it! With how small I hear the venue is presale is a must, as well as ameet up with whoever is attending.
From Hive himself regarding the size of the venue...
in regards to it being 'tiny'... buy your presale tickets now if you want to be guaranteed entry. I prefer the smaller and more intimate venues myself

Oh Salvation is going to be fucking tits. I cannot wait to get the fuck down to some quality dnb and the ed rush/optical b2b tech house. Hearing this info regarding the size of the venue has me even more excited. FUCK A MASSIVE ON NYE.
He slipped over and over. They werent bad slips like most of the other djs but as far as mixing skill goes, the twelves were 2x better than tiga but then ruined it for me by playing tons of daft punk remixes. Tiga has never been a really good dj, he just plays good tracks. You dont know what good mixing is if you thought tiga was even close to flawless.
Stone-cold.
And you're right, I know nothing about mixing. The set was flawless, track-wise, then. And he played the only above-average set. The rest of the day, I will agree, was trainwreck after trainwreck after Daft Punk after trainwreck.
Also, The Chemical Brothers was a fluke on my end, note-to-self being to never consume that much whiskey that quickly. Underworld was meh. I wanna see them when Carl isn't deathly ill.
I don't know about Tiga "slipping on his mixes" all I know is when he came on he had the whole crowd going and I had a blast....it was one of the more enjoyable sets I saw all year.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
for anyone who is like "nah fuck that cluster Fuck of a massive EDC is," don't you think insomniac and the la coliseum / city of LA will take proper precautions for a safe and fun two day massive? especially after the death of an underage girl?
no excuses for any of that kind of drama to happen again, especially since it's +18.
wait until the line up is released before sticking to a decision.
I had a blast last year, nothings perfect. I will have a blast next year going into it knowing nothings perfect.
