Bonnaroo is announcing their lineup soon and OSL usually shares a headliner with them.

Deadmau5 returning as a Twin Peaks closer wouldn't surprise me even slightly, and I could maybe see Billy Joel out of those too. Mumford seems to be a one-off at Roo to make up for their prior cancellation, or maybe I'm just telling myself that because I hate them.

Forgot about the 'Roo cancellation, but I was thinking Mumford would be the favorite be the Roo/OSL headliners.

I think St. Vincent will end up on the bill.

My hope is that this lines up better with some tours of artists that will be dearly missed from Coachella. Mainly Royksopp and The Prodigy.

Nope, but would be a very welcome night set at the Twin Peaks stage.

Thats a weak ass top line for Roo. But I could definitely see the Fiver coming back for another headline set at Twin Peaks which he did in 2011.

Maybe 2015 is finally the year of the Boss. I think we might get another repeat headliner this year, maybe Pearl Jam, Radiohead (their album might be ready then and I could see them doing a late summer US tour), or Arcade Fire.

The dates got to be August 7-9th right. Thats the week after Lolla.

Arcade Fire is done touring. They're not going to be headlining any festivals this year.

    Prepare for the Piano Man.
    AC/DC - Lykke Li - Charles Bradley - Ride - Alabama Shakes - GOASTT - Steely Dan - Caribou - Tame Impala - Allah-Las - Todd Terje - Interpol - Eagulls - Reverend Horton Heat

Jack White - War on Drugs - Father John Misty - Royal Blood - Benjamin Booker - Kasabian - FKA twigs - Jungle - Belle & Sebastian - Perfume Genius - Hozier - Phox

St Vincent - Florence + the Machine - St. Lucia - Ryan Adams - Built to Spill - Sturgill Simpson - Angel Olsen - Panda Bear - Philip Selway - Desaparecidos

Has Elton John completed his Vegas residency? I recall discussing him last year, and he was a no-go due to his Vegas contract prohibiting him from playing any shows to the West.

I'd be down for Radiohead, but I'm guessing but they're still trying for no repeats.

Petty was a repeat, so maybe they won't care anymore
    3/14 - SMD - Public Works
3/31 - TV on the Radio - Fox
    4/17-19 - Coachella
    8/7-9 - Outside Lands

No that it was super likely but we can at least cross off Dave Matthews as he is playing Shoreline in September.

Seeing as how I can't make it to Outsidelands this year due to a schedule conflict, I also am hoping she will be at Fauxchella instead.

Yeah, so far all these dates are big festivals or small cities I either don't care to visit or would be too much of a headache/expense.

This has to be the weakest year for headliners ever since festivals became a major thing here.

Bonnaroo is looking to have a fantastic lineup. If OSL could share the same vibe, I'd be happy. A good number of them seem to be OSL repeats, so obviously the lineup isn't going to compare well, strictly speaking, but they have some caliber acts. As somebody suggested earlier, at least we can expect to share some of the top-tier acts.

Nice find, those dates hadn't been announced when I looked. Does Sacramento and/or San Jose disqualify him, then?

Note the 2014's at the end of all of those.

Ya, I'll be making that mistake halfway through 2015, most likely. I swear, my rent checks are the only things that help remind me of current year.

Now that the Roo lineup is official I fear that Billy Joel is going to be the shared headliner. He hasn't played the Bay Area in a few years and skipped the Bay Area on his last tour. 2015 might make 2014 look like it was a good year. If these fest's weren't selling out the promoters might pony up to pay for some real headliners.

agreed. especially because i feel that him being on the bill would hurt the chances of Springsteen finally showing up

Ranger Dave recently tweeted something about having "high hopes" for this year; that's the name of Springsteen's most recent album; Fingers crossed for Bruce, one of the few acts that would get me really psyched about returning to OSL.

Nice work. I got my fingers crossed with you. An Epic 3.5 hour Bruce set would be worth at least half the ticket price alone. With all the other festivals announcing their lineups early, hopefully we wont be waiting until April for OSL's lineup.
