hm... may have to check this one out as well. ive heard nothing but good things
the music is what its all about, you love it just like i love it.
In my opinion, absolutely. LiB is more of a paradise than it is a festival. It feels so much more organic than Coachella, it's always thriving and growing, art is being produced everywhere. There are no entrances/exits where you need to be searched, when the festival 'ends' life is just beginning. You can find little artistic alcoves where the music keeps going, the art keeps getting created, and the people keep dancing. It's utter and complete relaxation (obviously you can't do your drugs in the open like an idiot, there are still cops. Alcohol is a different story though, bring in as much as you like), I have never been so worry-free in my entire life. Another thing, EVERYBODY IS FUCKING HOT. I figured it would be a bunch of smelly ass, stingy, hairy hippies, but everyone is fucking beautiful and interesting. Hipster/douchebag-free. It's a utopia pulsating with art and happiness.
SIGH
Excuse the rant, I really miss LiB.
damn..... looks pretty legit.
the music is what its all about, you love it just like i love it.

oh my god I miss this weekend so much.
I just watched the videos posted on the first page and when I saw Earth Harp I just remembered how we all went over there together and laid in a big group. GOD DAMN THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL.

Great pics! Nice trip down memory laneFirst time I met some of you guys.
I'm assuming it will be in Irvine again.
This year, my husband and I might actually camp one night.![]()
I think they were just trying to trump a festival they've never experienced by just listing off as many power festivals they could at the time, trying to belittle it. Moving on... pretty sure they said after this year's fest that they were going to be back next year, as in the same spot.
edit: why would they leave? it was a pretty flawless spot. hopefully they improve on more camping on level surfaces. and maaaaybe just let us get our feet wet in the lake. although, i don't see that working out

Man, the thought of ********* and LiB happening in the same year is awesome. I remember ********* being in September, would that happen to be durring the same week as Burning Man?
it's like 3 weeks after burning man.
I was quite sad I missed ********* in 09, and very sad that there was no ********* this year. LiB and ********* in the same year would be amazing!
I did both in 07, infuckingcredible.
These fests are one of the many reasons why I moved to CA

Yea i think i paid 190 and I got mine a week/2 weeks before the event. Great price for a weekend festival that has a lot to offer.
