If you're doing LiB, do DEMF.

Ha, no kidding. I was bringing in a bunch of stuff on Sunday... gave the security guard the "you don't need to search me" look. He was just like "Oh, ok."

My favorite is when you walk up to a security guard so they can search you and they look at you like "what do you want?", then just let you by.

Sasquatch is on Memorial weekend, so the airfare is a little higher than usual but I've normally been able to find something in the $225-250 range from SF. Splitting a car rental several ways, the cheap camping & being able to bring in your own food make it pretty economical.

I'm trying to decide between Sasquatch, Movement & Primavera. The idea of Movement sounds great but realistically I'll just end up in bed by the time everything good is going on.

No kidding? I've paid less than that from Phoenix. I think the most I have paid is $230 and i've paid as little as $170 for Sasquatch weekend.

It's definitely between Sasquatch and Primavera for me. I probably won't decide for months.

Yea, as dorkfish mentioned, tickets between the two are not as cheap as you'd think unless you happen to hit a sale.

Primavera is really appealing but I need to see lineups before I can decide, and am not sure I can swing a european vacation a month after Coachella.

I'm just wondering what classes I will have in the spring and if they will be done by then. I think they will but I would also like to see a lineup. I need to go to that thread and ask lots of questions. I'll miss Sasquatch though. It's been so much fun for the past 3 years.

That would be cool. It's funny how fast Sasquatch sold out this year considering Massive Attack, My Morning Jacket, and Ween aren't "traditional headliners."

Couldn't care less about seeing the Foo Fighters again.

Four days seems a bit excessive. I guess the promoters figure people have already taken Friday off anyway, so why not have them show up on Thursday night...and wait in only slightly less massive lines to enter the campground.

We got lucky with no traffic line at Wild Horse. We jumped in the oncoming traffic lane and drove for about 2 miles past cars waiting to get in the main campground and made a right on Baseline and rolled right into Wild Horse. It was fun to cheat.

So, Foo Fighters plus making it 4 days seems like a huge mistake after the success of last year. 3 days for Sasquatch seems a bit long to begin with. I find myself chilling for hours in the afternoons sometimes at Sasquatch but I never mind because there is plenty to see and do.

I think I made the right choice this year by buying a Primavera Sound ticket. It's bun a fun 3 years of going to the Gorge though. Maybe i'll be back in 2012.

No wait for us at Wildhorse, but the line for the Sasquatch campgrounds was soooo long that it almost prevented us from getting into the WHs driveway. I had to drive along the shoulder for a lil bit to get in w/o having to wait unnecessarily. Also, last year traffic was diverted along a different more circuitous route from the hwy than what we did the year previous.

Yeah, the only line I encountered was on the first day of the actual festival. It wasn't too bad though, there was a Beirut/Gogol Bordello cover band playing for the line.

EDIT* Josh, this band was better than The Very Best.

Oh I was just being an asshole. I don't care since I won't go to Sasquatch anyways. But Everlong is possibly one of my all time favorite songs. I still don't like the Foos though.

We're definitely not going this year, but I hope the promoters don't screw this fun festival.

I liked the format of last year and feel we would be better served by improvements to the FOOD and the Bigfoot stage's glaring SOUND PROBLEMS.
