Radiohead/Rage Against The Machine/NIN!!!!!!!!!!
U2: 6/28 @ United Center
Lollapalooza: 8/1 @ Grant Park
This is like a giant chess game. They had to do something against Coachella
When do the $60 early bird tickets go on sale, isn't it sometime soon?
I almost want to say they did it the Monday after the festival last year, maybe we missed it already or they're not doing it.
We didn't miss it already. They just haven't said either way. Normally they do say in that e-mail something like stay tuned for early bird tickets. They may have just not realized it or they may skip it all together. We just have to stay tuned.
In all honesty, that's probably going to be the only way I get to Lolla in the next 5 years. I mean, I skipped NIN/Radiohead/RATM/Kanye and I don't think anything will equate to that. Plus, I'd probably opt for Roo if line ups were similar.
My early predictions (which will probably never happen)
Check out Sleeping is Giving in for great mixes and other cool stuff
4/8 Ride @ The Roxy, 4/10 St. Vincent @ The Cosmopolitan, 4/14 Barry Manilow @ Staples Center, 5/2 Desert Daze, 5/8-10 Levitation, 5/16 The Juan Maclean @ The Regent, 6/10 Emmy the Great @ Hotel Cafe, 6/12 Emmy the Great @ Hotel Utah
Prince will not play another festival, EVER. Seriously.
hotel booked, first time for me!
I'm assuming the early bird ticket thing already happened, right? That's probably the only way I'd ever go.
It hasn't but there were possible hints in wording that there wouldn't be an early bird this year. So it remains to be seen.
Foos, Beastie Boys, Lil' Wayne, My Morning Jacket, Rush, Death Cab for Cutie
11/21 - Pearl Jam - Viejas Arena
Best line up ever.
Agree with your other suggestions but Rush? I love that band to death but hey, they ain't part of no "prototypical Lolla lineup".
Money talks, know this. Thom isn't going to reject a kings ransom because they played 3 years ago barely.
