I refuse to argue with you like some of the others around here. You start shit for the sake of starting shit on every single topic; it wouldn't be unheard of for you to argue the blueness of the sky. It's great that you can now do it in one place. Don't you get that's why it was created in the first place?
captn gets it. Faxy argues just for the sake of arguing, and it fucking sucks when it's one of the threads that you frequent.

I just explained it. of course I get it. I thought you were a fan of Randy though? I was because he was one of the people who liked to engage and argue. That's why this doesn't make sense to me. Maybe you prefer the way he argued or what he argued about but surely I didn't argue MORE than he did. Hell probably not half as much. Even with 20K posts he dwarfed my post count.
If you're going to argue (especially out of context of a thread), why not just go on AIM?

Sure but this is all subjective. I'm thinking this is more of a style complaint. Everyone argues about music on this board but it must be something in the way I do it that drives some of you absolutley bat shit crazy. You are another person who has said he has missed Randy. So I don't buy that it's just people who argue. It's specifically me and the way I argue.
So instead of arguing about stupid shit, we're arguing about how we argue about stupid shit. That's progress.
Randy was funny, and that's a FACT, Fax!
Yes. That is a FACT we can agree on.

How hard is it to scroll past the posts you don't want to read? Page Down? Down Arrow? Scroll Bar? Space Bar? Scroll Wheel?
It's not like real-life where you are stuck with someone who just won't shut up and you can't hear what everyone else has to say.
My problem is that after the pages and pages of debate, he usually sums up his entire argument with a single sentence.

somebody's gotta post it
this thread =![]()
I can admit to this though my justification is that over the course of the discussion my thought becomes more succinct. I think you make a fine point and I can actually try to make some progress in this area. My first reaction to a comment, post or thread is almost always knee jerk. Then over the course of the discussion and listening to other people make their arguments, my overall point becomes clear. I should simply read, absorb and then contribute. It would absolutely be more enjoyable for everyone. You win this thread asshole.
In this case, I simply created a thread about Mel Gibson. I figured it was a crazy rant that would result in an entertaining discussion. For whatever reason it angered people that I would create such a thread. I stopped posting in it and it if others did the same it would die as the community sees fit.
Faxman, is BP's new pressure cap going to work? Where's Kevin Costner?
Monty Python ftw.
I support you, Fax. Start a thread about anything you want. And argue for pages. It's really not a big deal. It couldn't possibly be worse than the Tinychat thread or any of its bastard children (Ask A Girl, etc.).
Delete.
Once again, you completely miss the point.
He's not saying Randy didn't rub people the wrong way, he's saying that while he did rub people the wrong way, at least he was funny and entertaining. Your endless arguments are neither.

Your posts are quite funny. Honestly, Chris. You're one of the people who are really bothered by my posts. Why do you annoy yourself by reading them? I've been posting for years and you still read them. At some point you have to take responsibility for your own actions buddy. I can do it and I have in fact done it in this very thread. Now it's your turn to be the big boy and take a break if they bother you as much as you are protesting.
