FILTER Magazine is proud to announce our very own, first annual international music festival, FILTER Magazine's Culture Collide Festival.
From October 7-10, FILTER Magazine's Culture Collide Festival will be bringing bands from all over the world to Los Angeles for a multicultural weekend, taking over local venues Spaceland, the Echo, Echoplex, and the Standard, Downtown LA for showcases.
Confirmed acts include Black Lips, Klaxons, Monotonix, Casiokids, Phantogram, The Besnard Lakes, The Boxer Rebellion, Voxhaul Broadcast, Suuns, Land of Talk, We Barbarians, and Amusement Parks on Fire, with dozens more to be announced!
Wristbands for the entire festival are priced at just $20 and will be available starting July 5 via Ticket Web. For those who miss out on the limited pre-sale, tickets will also be available at each venue on the night of the show (subject to capacity limitations).
Each participating country (including Norway, Spain, Poland, Israel, Germany, Sweden and more) will bring two artists to Los Angeles to partner up with American bands who will act as ambassadors during the festival to share information about playing the States and discuss their own approaches to creating music. Throughout the week, Los Angeles will become a multicultural melting pot of international music, food, drink, and fun.
The official kick-off party presented by mike’s HARD PUNCH™ will be hosted by The Standard, Downtown LA on Wednesday, October 6, with the festival-closing block party presented by Toyota Antics taking over downtown LA on October 10.
