it's summer, baby.
ITS A TWISTER ITS A TWISTER
Please everyone who doesn't understand what the "middle class" is: stop posting on Facebook the Gawker article about Romney's definition of "middle income" followed by "THEN I MUST DIRT POOR! HUUUUURRR"
Can you post a link to said article?
it's summer, baby.
Robin beat me to it.
"Is $100,000 middle income?" Stephanopoulos asked.
"No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less," Romney responded."

Out of curiosity, I decided to search Obama...
thank you for the balanced report.
Unless Romney is able to really change his public perception, I think the only hope he has of winning in November is if Obama badly botches some Straits of Hormuz crisis or something.
Needing Ronald Reagan, the Republicans instead nominate Elmer Fudd.
Ronald Reagan wouldn't fly today. It's a dying party.
So after a whole bunch of conservative hand-wringing over the weekend, and a series of inside-baseball stories about dysfunction within his campaign's strategy apparatus, Romney's back today with a new strategy: It's to double down on a conservative message to amp up the base. No wait, it's actually to start talking "specifics" to swing state voters.
Also, what I see as the weirdest part of Romney's campaign is reflected in this paragraph from a New York Times article this morning on the promise for "more specifics" on the part of his campaign:
This isn't new. He was off the trail for the week and a half around the DNC. He didn't do much last week. I get that he has to do fundraising, and that he's never been much of a retail politician, but I've never seen a presidential candidate run a fall campaign with so few public events. His campaign seems to think that all you have to do is run ads and show up at the debates and the rest will take care of itself, which seems like a significant miscalculation to me.After the speech in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, Mr. Romney’s campaign schedule remains light for the rest of the week. There is a planned fund-raiser in Los Angeles Monday night, and Mr. Romney has no public events on Tuesday. He is scheduled to have only a single public event on each day later in the week, though the campaign could still add events.
That's because you're also dying.
All things decay with Time: The Forrest sees

That Timber tall, which three-score lusters stood

It needs a Bill Buckley to ideologically reinvent it. Anyone know of a wildly original conservative mind out there because I don't?
too... many... oxymorons...
but isn't the whole of the dialogue
Romney's "cling to their guns and religion" moment?
