Jobs Where Women Earn More Than Men
Facilities Director - $74,200
Pay above men's: 9 percent
A facilities director's duties vary by the organization but generally involve managing buildings, grounds, equipment and supplies. In small organizations, experience may be all you need. But in large organizations, you might need a bachelor's degree and more experience.
IT Network Engineer - $64,200
Pay above men's: 5 percent
Kelly Tollefson, an IT network engineer, is the only female on her Bellevue, Neb., office's team of 13. She said employers seeking workplace diversity pay women more as an incentive.
Employers often require a bachelor's degree. Some prefer a master's in business administration with a concentration in information systems. An associate's degree or professional certification with related work experience may be sufficient.
Advertising Broadcast Producer - $55,600
Pay above men's: 9 percent
Nan Pike, an advertising broadcast producer at Bozell, an Omaha, Neb. advertising firm, says she's never encountered obstacles or special treatment because of her gender.
"It's all about if you do the job," she said.
The job involves facilitating all areas of the broadcast production process for a client, from budgets to timelines. Employers often prefer a bachelor's or master's degree, often in advertising or journalism. Relevant areas of study include marketing, consumer behavior, visual arts, art history, photography or market research.
Television Producer/Director - $53,500
Pay above men's: 9 percent
People in this role can follow many paths to employment. Producers often get their start working in a performing arts union or for a press agent, managing director or business manager. Directors often enter the industry as actors or writers or assisting other directors.

Legal Assistant - $33,400
Pay above men's: 6 percent
Most legal assistants have an associate's degree in paralegal studies or a bachelor's degree in another field with a certificate in paralegal studies. Community colleges are the typical route, but a few schools offer bachelor's and master's degrees in paralegal studies. Some employers offer on-the-job training, and most don't require certification. Some certifications require renewal tests and continuing education.
We're screwed if he does. Fucked without the pleasure. Raped after saying "no." He'll be the inspiration for all bullies, racists, sexists, and homophobes. We'll all have to wear Mormon underwear and learn new math. Women will have to learn how to cook again and men will control women's vaginas. In the words of Hall & Oates, "Say it isn't so."
I told my boss that if Romney wins the election, I'm going to ask for flex time so I can go home early to make dinner.
I'm getting paranoid about Romney winning. During 2008, I practically didn't even think about McCain because I knew he was not going to win but I'm getting a little sketched right now about Romney. I hope his shit keeps going down in flames (more dogs on the roof please!) but it seems like the Republican party likes that. They were all over a pitbull with lipstick. I'm really going to be counting my lucky stars about being in the Canadian immigration process if Romney is elected.
has anyone who's ever threatened to move out of the country if the presidential candidate they don't like wins, ever followed through?
I just happen to be in the middle of immigrating to Canada because my husband is Canadian. I'm not immigrating to get out of America, I'm just saying if Romney wins, I will be even more stoked that I no longer live there.
You just don't want to pay for healthcare.
I saw Tegan & Sara 2 days after the 2004 election. "I don't think we can invite you all to come live in Canada but maybe you can visit?"

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) are found in every province of Canada. The Mormon populations of each of the provinces are:
Alberta: 75,600 members
Ontario: 45,350 members
British Columbia: 28,800 members
Quebec: 10,700 members
Saskatchewan: 5,500 members
Nova Scotia: 4,860 members
Manitoba: 4,500 members
New Brunswick: 2,900 members
Newfoundland/Labrador: 720 members
Prince Edward Island: 425 members
Yukon Terr: 260 members
Northwest Terr: 135 members
Therefore, about half of all Mormons in Canada live in Alberta and Ontario.
The Church does not release statistics for any area smaller than a state or province, so Mormon populations for specific cities are not available.

Salt Lake Tribune writes interesting article about who it endorses for president (very obvious)

The lead singer of Firewater and Cop Shoot Cop, Tod Ashley, left the USA after Bush's election, released an album bashing the regime in 2008, and he's only returned sporadically since.
I don't think he ever publicly stated that he would leave if GWB was elected, but he wasn't shy about not feeling like this was his country any more with songs like "Borneo"...
"Well I ain't gonna live in your world no more
(Hey, Borneo)
Yeah feeling like a funky two-bit whore
(Here I come, Borneo)
Got a monkey for a president
(Hey, Borneo)
And a head all filled up with cement
(Look out, Borneo)
So I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
I'm getting out of here
Yeah I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
I'm counting, 1! (2!) 3! (4!)
I can't take a minute more"
Who was a better president, Ronald Reagan or George W Bush

Watching MSNBC right now, post game undecided voter nonsense. FFS ladies, why would you even consider voting for Romney? Look, I'm a middle aged white guy voting for Obama. I'm in a minority. There's an obvious racist subset to that demographic which I'm guessing at least partially explains the overwhelming Romney support. But women... women should be 100% either in favor of Obama or anti-Romney. Why is this not the case? Explain yourselves.

I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard.
