Hello Ladies is growing on me. The cringe factor in last night's episode was pretty spectacular.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
Well, the interbutt tells me it's Sunday the 27th at midnight. That throws me into vast confusion, because midnight on the 27th would be Saturday night. Midnight on Sunday would be the 28th. Based on past Adult Swim premieres I'm going to assume it's Sunday night 12 EST, so Sunday 9 PST, and cross my fingers that that is correct. I haven't yet found a satisfactory answer.
So even though tonight's episode has been the best of this season by far I still have officially decided I am done with South Park. The past few seasons just have been terrible with the exception of an episode here and there.
I think Matt and Trey are pretty obviously bored with it. Haven't seen tonight's yet; I liked the World War Zimmerman thing, but that latest Goth Kids thing was some bullshit. Sometimes they'll get too didactic and forget to write the funnies, right? Well that Goth Kids episode, they got didactic, and forgot the didacticism in addition to the jokes. A true barrel-scraper of an episode.
I'm not terribly surprised that the show has gone downhill. Matt and Trey have been voicing their displeasure with the entire process for years it seems.
I still watch South Park regularly but the seasons aren't nearly as good as they used to be. I liked last night's episode though.
is anyone watching The Tomorrow People? I'm still not sold on the series, but I used to watch the original series as a kid and want to see where it goes. Reminds me a bit of The 4400 or early Heroes.
South Park is still one of my favorites but their writing staff has changed over the years and although Trey and Matt still oversee things they probably don't write as much of it as they used to.
I just finished watching Utopia and its super badass. It's very faustian. Has anyone seen it? I wonder if there will be a second season and what it will look like. Perhaps a season long chase of milna?

Netflix will have 4 (FOUR!) new 13 episode series, leading up to a Defender's miniseries.
Netflix Inks Marvel Deal
The stuff with Kyle reminded me of this scene from Homeland
