Really with the sighs and mehs? I love this line-up. Just at first glance, there's Elvis Costello, HAIM, Portishead, Chic, Public Enemy, Tom Tom Club, Toro y Moi, Cat Power, Django Django, Michael Kiwanuka, Solange, Nas, Sinead O'Connor and Lucinda Williams.

This would be a fantastic companion piece to Coachella; tons to see at both, and virtually no overlap between the acts I'd be most excited to see.

There are a lot of better European festivals. The Stones and Primal Scream are great, but other than that, I'm not too upset about missing out on tickets to this.

So Phoenix headlines Coachella yet only plays the John Peel stage here.

Not bad, but i am not too bummed about missing it this year. 2011, though, still stings.

Kasabian / Pulp / Arctic Monkeys / Noel Gallagher / Biffy Clyro come to mind instantly .

Note that Bill Wyman is billed on the acoustic stage.

You're going to a festival not a concert . 1 and a half hours out of an entire weekend shouldn't be the judgement . Yes the Stones are one of those gigantic bucket list acts , they are also quite old and might put on a terrible show.

Whats really cool as all of you know and are all aware that because of how enormous Glastonbury is and how many different areas there are at Glastonbury (Arcadia, Greenfields, Shangri-La, The Common, etc) and how there are people from all walks of life in attendance, that the lineup really doesn't matter in order to have the absolute fucking best time of your life.

It's basically like saying you don't want to go to Burning Man because you don't like some of the DJ's playing.

Could live forever at the Other Stage ... and Crystal Castles headlining John Peel? Yes, Vagina, there is a Santa Claus.

Indeed. Even if there's nothing too exciting on, there's always something to do, especially at night. There's a ridiculous amount of alternatives to the headliners, especially (which also means painful conflicts if it's one you want to see). For example, in 2011, the alternatives to U2 included Primal Scream performing Screamadelica, Cee Lo, DJ Shadow, Crystal Castles, Fatboy Slim, Emmy the Great by a campfire at the Joe Strummer shrine. Plus all the bars, silent discos, film tent, and the endless possibilities in the latenight areas.

Portishead, The Orb, and Leftfield are the ones I'm jealous of, and we got Leftfield two years ago.

    Primal Scream as well.
