Just so we're clear, if I was assaulted my boyfriend would probably kill the guy. So probably not a good idea. lol
What the fuck are any of you talking about? If someone grabs you by the throat in ANY state, you have the right to punch the shit out of them. As far as the head stomping goes, it really depends if any damage was done. At that point you could reasonably be considered to be in a heightened defensive state and call it a "stay down" kick and be fine I think. Unless you fucked him up bad, in which case you have some excessive force issues.
That's cool that you kicked some ass on your bday dude.
It's a good day for ass kicking
I hear ya it never feels good but at least you won. You defended yourself, on your birthday, and kicked some muckafurgasons ass. You know how many loppy middle age shlubs are sitting their fat asses on their recliners wishing they had the balls to kick muckafurgasons in the neck
Then you're fine. But yeah man, keys are one of the few things it's like, "Okay, shit needs to be REAL dangerous for me to leave without this item." But in the panic of the moment and theoretical concern that he might have other friends who would suddenly pop up, I suppose I can understand the fear.
Funny, now I'm thinking about all the times back when I was dealing and I was carrying around a bookbag full of secret pockets I'd had sown each, each filled with a ziploc of a different pharmaceutical or pill, and a brawl would break out at a house party and after my best friend and I had gotten through with the chaos and it was time to leave, I always remembered to go back and grab the back like RIGHT as we hit the door. We'd be trying to make a quick exit and as soon as that doorway approached I would go, "SHIT--DRUGS!" and he'd know exactly what I mean and run back to start barreling people out of the way.
Thank god he was able to decipher your coded message of "Shit, drugs!"

Well to be fair, it was an awful lot of quick reaction for someone on as much drugs as we were.
This is ranking of drugs by level of "harmfulness" is super interesting to me:

Is there a spam thread for people to post contests in? I want people (if willing and interested to vote for my friend in a contest that literally is just 1 click) but don't want to make a new thread for it because that's annoying. It'd actually be cool to have a thread where we can post a link for a contest we or a friend/family member is in for a little extra boost in voting.
Vote Christine Hoberg
I voted. What kind of music does she play? Is she cute? Have you fucked her? Was she good?
Yes, my Festy funk is getting out of control. I think I'm going to need some antibiotics.

I don't understand your comment about acid. Almost all of it is just drug specific impairment of mental functions. Are you saying you're surprised that it doesn't account for a larger number of damaged individuals?
He may be basing that largely on Ron.
But, looking at the chart, drug-related damage probably refers to harm to self or others related to the effects of the drug, so maybe the thought that some people on acid could become violent or attack things based on misperceptions. I've never encountered that sort of behavior, but I've definitely heard stories of friends fighting trees or jumping off stuff because they were really high on acid (and usually other stuff.)
