I've never eaten a breakfast burrito because eggs are disgusting. I don't get why damn near every fucking breakfast item has to be egg-centric.

I do like potato in my burrito, especially if I am cooking. My son and Nick eat a lot, so I can buy one pound of bacon, or one pound of steak, add potato, onion, eggs and cheese and feed a house full of hungry boys for $10.

That sounds like the best burrito ever. Don't ask questions, just give them your money.

Sounds more like the kind of burrito you'd get at a place that stops serving breakfast at 10 am , but then you sauntered in...What you got was what was left simmering like dying scraps on the griddle, Cara...sorry

It's a food truck that shows up in the parking lot of my office at 9:30 am every day, Bev. I just happened to post about the burrito at 10:05, about 20 minutes after I'd finished eating it and had some time to kill on the board.

So Bev, in your working theory (since disproved) of the Meaty Breakfast Burrito Case -- places that stop serving breakfast at 10:00 am are likely to run out of potatoes but still have ample amounts of ham, bacon, and breakfast sausage?

Why, of course that practice is wrong. You and I both know that. But try conveying that to the guy in the kitchen who's been re-frying beans all morning for the lunch rush he's about to get slammed with.

Well, if it's a food truck we're talking about... yes, that burrito could be full of roadkill and taterless... I mean, how often do you see a potato flattened in the middle of the roadway?

I always kinda hated eggs until I learned to cook them better. They are probably one of my favorite foods at this point.

I use to extremely dislike Breakfast burritos till I tried one that wasn't from a fast food place or a school Cafeteria. In which they are just ok if done right. I was watching a cooking show the other day about Hamburgers and the host was cooking a fried egg to put on his hamburger. He suggested to collect some of the melted butter with a spoon and pour it on the top of the egg which I have never done before and kinda excited to try next time I cook some fried eggs.

I only enjoy eggs in a dish where all the other ingredients in it masks their taste.

I had eggs from my cousin's chickens when I was in Michigan and they were amazing. We didn't have enough so there were some store bought "farm fresh" eggs cooked in an second pan. The color difference was amazing, a warm yellow versus a plain, dull yellow. Much richer taste, too. I'm not sure if I'd recommend those that don't like eggs to stay away or try them out.

When I last made my own breakfast burritos to freeze/reheat they had eggs, cheese, spinach, black beans, mushrooms, and peas. The last three ingredients had been simmered together with tomatillos, onions and peppers and whatnot, I guess. I should really do that again if we get a microwave.

My usual breakfast burrito has cherry tomatoes, colored peppers (not green), green onion, hot sauce, 1 meat (usually chorizo or sausage) and once in a while I'll throw some hashbrowns in the mix

Anyone in the LA area should head out to Montebello sometime and visit J&S No. 3 to try the best breakfast burritos. They're super cheap, they're so flavorful and they are open 24/7/365. I think they said the last time they closed was when JFK was assassinated.

    This didn't surprise me:

At the state fair last week at a concert, most everyone danced the entire show and it didn't matter if it was Joy To The World, We're an American band, Devil With The Blue Dress, or Happy Together. All bands and songs as old as dirt, and they still loved them. We were near the back of the venue and I saw maybe 3 CELL phones taking pics. That's what didn't surprise me.

    This did surprise me:

At a Phish concert Sunday we were walking around shakedown street. There were at least 3 big booths selling weed, edibles, oil, bubble, etc. They had professional vendor signs and the whole bit. Weed is legal in Colorado, but it still was a bit surprising to see it selling right there in the open and legal. Strange world. cr****
