Who owned the Sahara?
Sasha & Digweed
Simian Mobile Disco
Above & Beyond
SMD all the way!!!!!!!! I almost got my mack on in there.
where did you go Sangria girl?
Deadmau5 was my personal fave. After that it was Sasha and Digweed, Pendulum, Aphex, FBS, Kavinsky for me. Other acts I either didn't see, didn't like, or didn't see enough of them to really say.
Coachella is a place beyond conventional geography, a time not measured in hours or minutes, an experience, a state of mind, an attitude, and a holy form of expression. The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is an annual festival put on by Goldenvoice in Indio, CA. Please don't confuse the two.
aww MIA isn't on the list... even though her set was a big clusterfuck, it was hella fun but I would have voted for Hot Chip anyway
hot chip, hot chip, hot chip.
unfortunately i can only vote once.
2008, 2009, 2011, 2012-2, 2013-1, 2016-2
I missed SebastiAn but apparently he was really good
Justice; made it to the front row after showing up at 11 after Roger Waters. Damn what a good way to end Coachella.
I'm losing my patience, I just came here to bounce!
I voted Hot Chip, but Boyz Noize came in second
HOT CHIP was sooo great! My other favorites were Sebastian, Kavinsky and Midnight Juggernauts were tight as well. Sahara was nice this year, Hot Chip definitely was the best that I saw, so much fun, the crowd was really bumpin'!
Metallica: 8/20 @ U.S. Bank Stadium
Prophets of Rage: 9/3 @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheater
Coachella 2017: 4/14-16 @ Empire Polo Fields
Pendulum was so bad. i said it.
boys noize clearly murdered hot chip and justices sets.
Fat boy slim
Those four tore it down, plus during Justice the people climbing the rafters of the tent, and the security guard got them down.
1. aphex twin (anyone who says otherwise needs to stop talking forever)
2. hot chip (boys noize better? stop talking forever.)
3. booka shade (finally some non generic ed banger music).
justice and fatboy were good, in a "lets party" way, but nothing over the top special like the top 3.
All of Ed Banger crew with the exception of Uffie was on point
[B]Fatboy Slim with his remix of Arcade Fire "'No Cars Go"
Deadmau5 was too hot he had to shed the mouse hat
Diplo very amazing
HOT CHIP!!! deadmau5 also rocked my world.
Pendulum ftw. IMHO.
'07 '08 and beyond...
I voted Pendulum here because Modeselektor isnt on the list.
I guess none of you saw Adam Freeland. He should be in the poll because he bought a show with him. He had a sick intro, had the crowd interaction going with the Obama sing along, had the text box with his setup. He and Aphex were the best DJs that I saw.
James Zabiela and Deadmau5 were very good as well.
Diplo is Girl Talk in disguise. Nothing impressive from him IMO. And his terrible mixing of Prodigy's SMBU, one of my favorite songs ever, pissed me off.
Danny T had a sweet ending to his set, dropping LCD SS and a sweet mix of some classic REM - hearing everyone sing along to it was quite a magical experience
Pendulum was awesome.
Fatboy came on too late so I didnt get to see much of him, but what i did see was good. I'd love to see him again.
Also, anyone who did NOT sample a daft punk track should get recognized as well. Seriously, does the ed banger crew realize that there are other artists out there to sample?
