Coachella Merch 2010 - what did you get?

those posters on ebay are listed as 11" x 24", so beware...those aren't the full size posters...but (assuming those dimensions are correct, but how could they be? they weren't selling "small" ones at the fest were they?) instead the smaller size ones.

Ended up with 3 water bottles, the camp program, and a long feather earring from a girl selling an assortment of different sizes and lengths off a cart in the DoLab. Oh, and we can't foget the silk dress and skirt that I spotted on the way out Sunday Night right before the merchandise booth, and most cherished memento...and only $20...


BTW...Did anyone get the opportunity to meet Ari in the campground? Better yet, did you have the same pleasure we had listening to him entertain our capsite with his awesome reggae style rap. He was just cruisin the campground dressed in tie dye t-shirt and a rasta hat, friendly as ever and ready to rap by request. He was so good and Pete asked if he had any recordings made yet. Sure enough, he did and turned us onto one. We thought he was so good that we ended up giving him a $20 donation. (As he called it.) Then, before heading on to the next row of campers, he gave us a copy of the publication his family puts out monthly in Ohio, I believe. It's full of comics pertaining to World issues, politics, etc, and they gladly accept cartoons from others...

Who is the ASSHOLE that decided to shut down the previous years merch booth at 11 a.m.!!!!! I had an armload of $10 hoodies & I couldn't buy them cause the lil volunteer told me "I can't accept your money cause my boss took the cash drawer." I was soooo fuckin pissed & still am. I even had the exact amount & didn't need change!!!!!! This was a massive let down.

As a family of 3 we picked up 3 Coachella tee shirts, The Specials, Gorillaz, Band of Skulls, King Khan, MGMT, and they threw in one vintage tee for free plus a package of badges and stickers. We also bought the Emek blue poster.

I got the white coachella shirt with yellow & green birds on it, charcoal-colored Grizzly Bear shirt with a fish on it, XL navy blue Coachella shirt with yellow writing on it. We didn't get any shirts with bands listed on them this year.

Merch sucked. I did not like the Gorillaz or Thom Yorke shirts, and where the fuck were the Orbital shirts??? I wanted merch from all three and ended up with nothing.

well, goldenvoice kinda had a little country music festival over the weekend, so not sure why you would expect a prompt reply. give it at least a week for them to get back into the office and back on a normal schedule.

thanks to Fitchella I was able to fit into a size small (!) Specials shirt.

Also got 3 $5 shirts at the Thursday sale and a 1994 subway map hoodie. I tried so hard to find one of those first year (C) Coachella shirts but didn't see one in medium.
We bought about 8 or 9 of the $5 shirts for my friend who stayed home this year & fed my cats.

I love it! It reminds me of that Big Brother and The holding company album cover by Crumb. More bands should do this...or not.
