I believe this is WH in the lower right. Can someone confirm ?

Sure. Thought I don't know who is going to recognize it from an arial shot. It is on baseline and that looks like where it should be. It's the patch of green to the far right though to carlify. Just to the left of the not so green larger patch.
I wish I did. That would be a beautiful place to do it too.
Wouldn't it ?? Imagine flying to a festival ??
I was at a class in Austin years ago and one of the other guys there had flown there in his own plane. The rest of us schmucks were stuck flying cattle class on a commercial flight.
Most of us are arriving after rush hour, and the time to wait for luggage, get the rental, get groceries, adds up.
Also, this is a good time to point out, Baseline is the road you want to remember, if you're camping at WH and arriving (or coming or going from the campgrounds) during a time when there could be festival related traffic (like a couple of hours before/after the festival) -- instead of using silica to get back to the highway.
You can take baseline out to beverly burke and get to the access road for the George exit of I-90 (which has a gas station with beer, subway, a couple of small restaurants). For example:
Aziz Ansari cancelled.
My boyfriend and I are staying in a hotel Friday night and driving out to Wild Horse Saturday morning, if anyone needs a ride or anything.

So this means I have a WH pass with 3 open spots (and in theory the same in a to-be-rented car).

I think they have a WH pass.
I'll have some of the stuff left over from Coachella with me (vodka and jack in waterbottles, some Monsters, water, etc.). Is it worthwhile to bring a couple of canopies? We were pretty much baking in the sun last year during the morning, until the Welsh nextdoor left us their canopy for Monday. WH has shade to share, or no?
Will also bring coolers and a couple of extra chairs ...
I don't recall WH having shade outside of the little area near the "restaurant" kitchen. I never felt so hot that I needed shade last year BUT in 2008 when it was raining it would have been nice to have canopies. Instead of hiding in tents and cars.
If you have space, bring them, we'll use them. And extra coolers would be awesome and appreciated. Did you see that we're planning on trying to cook breakfast each day?
BTW, WH has no rules against liquor, so we do not need to sneak.... I still giggle to myself thinking of the number of times someone took a huge gulp of vodka thinking they'd gotten a cold water.
Saw the b-fast plans. Sweet! We'll be bringing a small grill, too since Sam is allergic to gluten and the food inside the venue is death to him.
The Kirkland "water" bottles are coming with - I'm sure someone will find a use for them
Does anyone want 5-Hour Shots, or is that just a Karen thing? I can make a Costco run before leaving Slick City or Kennewick.
Hey, Invisible, are you a PAW person I should be remembering? I'm a former Capitol Hill resident and am drawing a Friday night blank at who other than Janelle is a Seattle-ite.
I don't think invis has been by our area at Coachella, but you *might* have met him or saw him at Sasquatch last year.
And yes, we will definitely find a use for the russian water. I plan on making bloody marys to go along with breakfast. Maybe if I have enough time to shop I'll get stuff for mimosas too.
The cooking is going to be a good thing! The more I think about it, the more I was dreading the food choices in the venue.
We ran into him a few times at different sets but I can't remember who was with us at the time. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing you IN the venue very much.
Of course, you'd think think this would have put us at the same stages, but I was trying to keep Lisa and Steve happy and not too overwhelmed by the whole great outdoors of it all so we spent much time looking for shade, sitting on the hillsides or in that grassy area where behind that Jack Daniels dispensary.
I only regret that I wasn't able to focus more on The Hazards of Love.
Bumping. Just a reminder for those of you without camping passes or rides sorted... I have a WH camping pass and no one to share it with at present.
