Default Music Tastes Good - Long Beach 2016

Sept. 23-25 in downtown Long Beach. Yes, one of the worst possible weekends of the year.

Looks fun, though Sigur Ros is that Saturday. My friend plays drums for Spare Hearts.

I'm going to have to go to SD for Sigur Ros unless Warpaint is playing super early and I can double dip.

Bummed, this is same weekend as Life is Beautiful and I've gone all three years and want to continue that. Love a lot on this lineup. Low-billed acts worth checking out: Kate Tempest and Riothorse Royale. Tempest stole the show at Sasquatch last year and Riothorse Royale is right up your alley if you're a Warpaint fan.

My brother in law is also running the Folk Revival Festival the weekend before this at Rainbow Lagoon by the Sports Arena. Long Beach getting in the music game, love it.

Pine street if memory serves. The guy who runs the Coachella boutique and record store is one of the guys behind this. Jon Halperin.

The more artists I check out the more excited I am to go. Right next to my girlfriends place, so very convenient and cheap.

Parking is going to be pretty hectic.
We are the ride sponsor for MTG and are doing an special promotion for attendees to make it really easy and affordable to get to and from the festival.
Just an FYI you can check out the promo here

Sorry if this comes across as spammy, but we just want everyone to get there easily to enjoy the music and food.
    Have fun everyone!

Pretty awful set times on Saturday for this.
Specials and deltron direct conflict, with iron and wine overlap.
    Dr dog vs melvins
warpaint, vintage trouble, metz, easy star all stars all partially overlap each other.
    Meh.

Friday and Sunday just have 1 stage with everyone rotating in and out, 30 min between sets.
