Apparently! Then again, everyone has an offday. Personally, it would be easier to remain civil if the general attitude was more "Coachella-esque" and less "staff writer for Pitchfork."
See! I can have a sense of humor! I swear! You Believe me, right? TELL ME I'M NOT CRAZZZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got three definite confirmations today, from a trusted source: Arcade Fire, Marina and the Diamonds, and The Morning Benders.
"The first time I heard the new single off the Bravery album, I actually cried, and I do not even remember the name of that damn song. It reminded me of this girl I am in love with." - kroqken
I will believe you simply because none of those bands surprise me in the slightest.
not reading through the whole thread, so did anyone mention foo fighters yet? read interview with dave saying they should be done recording the new album by dec. 1st. a new album with butch vig and krist novoselic, no less. interesting timeline...
Foo Fighters? This isn't the Grammys.
The band that headlined just last year and delivered as billed?
Pick your battles, hombre.
RADIOHEAD

I think this italian writer (referred to here) has, either through over-enthusiasm, or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little....in fact we haven't quite finished the album - in the studio at the moment - nor have we yet considered any touring. The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished....hope that's a little clearer!

Probably best to expect no Radiohead at this point unless a miracle happens, or unless they've been signed on for a different year. That being said, I expect Coldplay to at least have been approached at this point. They are doing some small shows in London to test out the new album.
when do 2011 tickets go on sale???
Oh geez...

With all the Daft Punk rumors abound, I have to ask. Is the main speculation behind this simply because they did the Tron Legacy score?
I mean, how many artists have done a score or a soundtrack and then toured based off of it? The only ones I can think of off-hand are completely different scenarios (Swell Season, Christopher Guest & co doing the Spinal Tap & Mighty Wind tours, and an O Brother Where Out There tour with T-Bone Burnett). Really just seems a bit of a weak connection.
(I could also be missing some sort of ZOH MAH GAH factor that's floating out there which makes the rumor have more speculation, but it really just sounds like crazy wishful thinking)
They have confirmed they will be touring.
http://www.coachellaleaks.com/ is a fail. I heard from a good source SHM is not playing.
