What are the odds of an Albuquerque-area date for this? Before you ask me if Roger performed Dark Side of the Moon here, the answer is no. But, since then, we have a new arena in Rio Rancho and a re-furbished arena in Albuquerque.

It's mostly speculation, but could this city make the cut? I'd like to see the show, but I'm not traveling for it.

    Thanks TallGuy

I hope we get it here. I'll travel if need be tho.

Werent the 1980 shows in outdoor colliseums tho?

I think LA had it at Sports Arena, but I may be wrong.

I'm hoping for more markets than the DSOTM tour as well. Specifically Boise so I could attend with my dad whom I haven't seen in a few years. Looks like we'll know everything by this coming Monday. The good news is it's 50+ dates in the US.

That didn't answer my question, but thank you Fax. I'm hoping for Boise, too, so you and your dad can go and whatnot.

It was at the Sports Arena.... Sports Arena lol

Edit: To "Alterboy"... you are a fucking moron. Roger hasn't done a tour of this magnitude since the original shows and The Wall in Berlin and many of the songs from The Wall haven't been performed by a member of Floyd since The Wall in Berlin...

With it being 50+ dates lets think about it logically. The biggest markets will get 2-3 shows each and the biggest cities will get a show. In Roger's past touring he has never come to New Mexico, but he has also never done a tour this extensive of the States at one time. For the DSOTM tour, the 2006 leg had 21 North American dates and the 2007 leg had 27. So it's probably safe to say he will hit markets he hasn't before.

It's possible he might be doing 3-4 shows in only 15 markets keeping it sort of like the original Wall tour by having it be a short residency at each venue

I grew up in Albuquerque, and unless things have changed, you guys ain't getting a show this big. They still run shows out at Tingley Coliseum? Is that the re-furbed arena you are referring to? Honestly, I think Albq is just outta the way so these really big shows look at it solely from a financial perspective.

The DSOTM tour kind of annoyed me, but due to the album's coolness and the inclusion of older songs in the set list the show was still pretty good. However, The Wall is by far my least favorite Floyd album and since it is 2 discs there will be less time for the inclusion of additional songs, so I think I will be giving this tour a pass.

Really? The Wall is my fave Floyd album. I really enjoyed DSotM at Coachella but the show around it was also incredible. Strictly from a production standpoint it's hard for me to imagine someone justifying not seeing this performance if you are a fan of Pink Floyd's music.

The Wall is not my favorite but fuck, it was his concept and he hasn't played it in 20 years. I'm as excited as fuck about this. The only downfall is it's not ampitheaters. Seeing this at the Gorge would blow my mind up.

Yeah, I prefer Meddle, DSOTM and WYWH to the Wall. The production value on Waters' tours is always outstanding, but I don't know if it will be worth me expending the ~$130 for my wife and I to see this tour.

Things have changed, yes. I'm not talking about Tingley Coliseum. I know better than to think this would come to Tingley. The re-furbished arena I'm talking about is The Pit. I know they want to have more concerts there. The only thing I can see is Paul Krebs (UNM Athletics Director) not wanting to have a concert during the basketball season.

Every now and then a huge mainstream artist will come to Albuquerque. It's not impossible, though also not very probable.

I think it's less likely than having it at The Pit. But that's all really up to the artist. The Pan American Center is a shithole compared to The Pit.
