Caribou were awesome this evening. I think that this show was an even better one than last May in Seattle, which is saying a lot.

They tweaked and jammed out a number of their songs. All of this touring has served them well. Caribou are definitely on their game right now, you guys are in for a treat in LA.

Of course not. I'll probably be with Gabe and Jennie and Chris and Drew and whoever else shows up and maybe a decently sized group of my friends. No mustache, so just look for the fat guy.

It didn't sell well here in Seattle either. It was moved from a 1700 capacity venue to a 550 capacity venue. Ouch. It was sold out by the time we arrived, however.

How many people does Neumos hold? Show was sold out when I saw them there.

TallGuy made a good point in that Caribou played the Echoplex, which is about half the capacity of the Music Box, last time they were through. That was when Swim came out.

I'm contemplating buying the album, I think it'll depend on what merch Emeralds has with them.

Can anybody convince me to go to Caribou? I really don't feel like making that fucking drive again after driving 900+ miles monday through wednesday and then going back up to LA yesterday. Them starting at 11 is not helping me want to go, even with Emeralds playing.

Anybody know if that's a tour only album? I couldn't find anything about it on the ATP site. I'd love to be able to relive that amazing show.

Yeah, it's only on sale on the tour. I imagine if they have any extra after the tour's done they'll sell the remainder either on their site or via ebay.

What? Where did you get that number? The advertised capacity of the Music Box is 1300.

great show last night. happy to hear Sun as a closer...works great! i still have no clue as to how Dan keeps track of the vocals using that loop/delay like he does. trippy. man, their drummer just keeps impressing me more and more each time i see them.

can't believe how many boardies left after the Emeralds set. party foul.

Yeah I was under the impression the Fonda was 1,200 on paper. Maybe with the reno it's 1,300 now? El Rey is 771 on paper but can hold close to 1,000 if you really fill it. 771 is still comfortable.

It's far less than 1300 when the balcony and the rooftop patio isn't open. Friends family is good friends with the event manager of the music box's family. He said something in the 900's but i couldn't find that information online to back it up, so i found 863 from here: http://www.goldstar.com/venues/holly...-at-fonda.html

Good show last night. Very similar to the show at the El Rey. Swim is performed SO well live, I could never tire of their shows. So much fun. Nite Jewel really sucked though, nothing about that set kept me interested.

    Agreed Geezr, drummer kills it.

Definitely with the drummer. Great set altogether, glad we missed the (apparently) horrendous openers, though.
