Just alittle. Their album is a good listen. They have the potential to release some great albums in the future I feel like.
they are not a great live group. does that mean the studio enhanced them?
you know what i mean.
they landed a really good set time on a really good stage this year, however I feel like they should have been in one of the tents
They may be a bit overrated, but I like them. They were really great on the Outdoor Stage at sunset.
the busy bee has no time for sorrow.
they're the hottest shit out
they are way overrated. i like them ok. would never pay to see them if they werent at coaachella
I would actually only see them if I was paying. Saw them at Coachella last time and their sound is not good for an outdoors festival, they need to be inside or their sound gets lost, I would see them again at a smaller indoor venue though and I think they'd be great in that kind of setting.
Everyone's a Photographer
I voted no. I'm totally digging them. They're going to blow those main stage speakers up.
fuckin' with the lights on
lol obviously youve never seen them . They blow up nothing . More of a plant a tree onstage band. As our encore well plant a tree it will grow and be beautiful . Thank you xx fans. in ten years we will have a tree and we will remember this night . it was unspectacular but it grew this tree.
would someone just have sex with this retarded chick and end this band
holy shit it might be isaacs retarded sister MODEST-MOUSE.jpg
They've really got their shit together live on this tour. Was really impressed when I saw them here in December.
I voted yes... Even though I do like a couple of their songs (mostly from the first CD), I mostly just find them incredibly boring and feel like most of their songs sound exactly the same.

I saw them in 2010 and took a nap near a tower during their set. I thought they were a bit too boring for a big stage, but since I didn't give them a good chance in 2010 I decided to check them out again this year. what a mistake, I left after a couple songs and went over to Two Door Cinema club instead. it's not that I don't like the xx, I do, but they aren't suited for an outdoor music festival.
do I think they're overrated? not really, their recorded stuff is quite ok, but I don't think it translates well in a live setting unless it's a smaller venue - but they are a bit too big for something like that because of their popularity.
