Deshutes just did a colaboration with Mother Road up in Flagstaff; a bourbon barrel aged stout that is off the hook. Love Deschutes! Just had an Abyss 2012 over the weekend.

I was given a MMMF ticket for Sunday, but I can't attend that day. If anyone is willing to trade a Sunday ticket for a Saturday ticket let me know.

Are you going to Flanny's tomorrow night? They are having a Deschutes Tap Takeover and MMMF kickoff. There is supposed to be a bunch of Abyss releases from past years and they are pouring the collaboration brew with Mother Road. Oh, and they are giving away MMMF tickets. I don't know what kind of contest they are having for the tickets, though. I wanted to check it out since I live pretty close, but I don't know if I will have time.

I need 2 Sunday tickets. I just don't have Saturday tickets to trade. I was planning to just walk up to the venue Sunday morning and find someone that might have some and buy them.

I not going to make the Flanny's event. Got my kids tonight. If I didn't I'd be there. I've made it to about half of there tap takeovers. I'm there a lot, and know the owners fairly well. The Flannigan's, John and John Jr., are great guys.

I live about 3 miles west of there on Elliot. I've been to Flanny's once, but never for a tap takeover night. I'm going to try my best to make it tonight but I highly doubt it. The owners of Flanny's are really involved with the AZ Society of Homebrewers.

A friend of mine told me he heard Stateside will have a huge show announcement on Monday and it will be the biggest band they've ever booked. He didn't give (or have) any more details. I would assume it's Prince and Stateside booked the shows in conjunction with Luckyman.

Not to be. I imagine Prince tickets are going to be nigh-impossible to get anyway and we've got a bunch of other shit we can do for $500. Is anyone going to try to take the plunge?

I took the plunge. I'm in for the early show on April 30. I had to skip Coachella in 2008 so this will be my first time seeing him. Can't believe I just dropped that much on one ticket.

What bothers me about it is that you're not paying $277 for like an epic three-hour set. Since he's doing two shows a night, you're probably going to get an hour, hour and fifteen. I mean, I like Prince and all, but that's almost a mortgage payment.

Talked with my friend some more about this at MMMF yesterday. It obviously had nothing to do with Prince since that came on Friday and was solely a Luckyman show. He told me the person he talked to might not have the best idea of what the "biggest booking ever" for Stateside would be. He has a feeling it might be Mumford & Sons playing US Airways Center. Like my friend said, Mumford & Sons wouldn't be that big of a deal like the person who told him is making it out to be since Stateside has booked them before in smaller venues. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

The Roots destroyed downtown last night. Best hip hop show I've ever seen.

A nice couple gave us their wristbands as they were leaving yesterday afternoon. Security was virtually non-existent. So many people walked right into the fest with booze. Glad we decided to check it out, hopefully they were successful enough to hold it again next year.

It seems like MMMF did fine. Talked with a member of Dry River Yacht Club on Saturday and he said organizers had expected 4,000 on Friday and the final count ended up being 7,000. Saturday's attendance looked pretty good once it got later in the day. I didn't go Sunday so I'm not sure how it was. I would imagine it was the lightest crowd of the weekend though. Anybody go yesterday that can comment on how big the crowd was?

The "big announcement" was in fact Mumford & Sons. Playing Desert Sky Pavilion on June 5.

There were about 3,000 to 4,000 on Sunday. I volunteered from 11 to 4. They had me in the camping area, so I didn't see much of the show. I did see Duo de Twang. There were people packed from the front to the soundboard. After that everyone was laying in the grass. Duo de Twang played about 11 songs..Winona, Amos, Boonville, Gauntlet, Red State, Battle of New Orleans, Falls, Pipeline, Jerry, D's.. I had the Chainbreaker Deshutes. It was very tasty.
