I'm waiting for more adds.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
Daft Punk or bust, amirite?!
Is anyone interested in a ticket to Station to Station in Winslow? I don't think i'm interested in a solo trip and since Rick didn't score a ticket i'm just going to sell mine.
Also, it looks like Jackson Brown was added to the lineup. It looks like that even though it is sold out they have a "wait list" open. Maybe they expect to increase capacity? Who knows.
Ticket is $30. I can e-mail it if you can pay pal it.

Neko Case was very good last night. Her voice is as incredible live as it is on her albums. Good mix of new and older songs.
who all's going to Titus Andronicus tomorrow night?
I will be there.
I will be there. I'm also heading to Tucson on Monday for Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
I'm seeing Sean's band tomorrow.

captncrzy's daughter may be going. She's 20. You were at the Four Peaks meet-up before Pixies in 2010, right? Jen or I will post back here this evening when Taylor gets home from work. I know she wants to see them -- had tickets to their Tucson show after Coachella but couldn't make it.
Oh yeah, sorry, but she's already at the show. Needed to get on the rail. She's hung out with suprefan one time too many.
I feel like I owe it to my 24/25-year-old self to go see the Zombies at the Crescent tomorrow. Oddly enough, the Crescent site indicates the ticket range is $16-52, but Ticketfly has the range as only being between $32 and $47. Just hope it doesn't sell out unexpectedly at the last minute the way Psychedelic Furs did.
Woo hoo! Got an email today from globalcitizen.org that I won tickets for Depeche Mode's Phoenix show! They didn't say where my seats are, but I'm just happy I'll be able to go since it looked like I wouldn't be able to afford even lawn tickets thanks to some untimely events the last couple of weeks. I did get a followup email from the band's management instructing me to tell the box office that I'm on the band's guest list, so who knows, maybe I'll score some nice seats.

Well, I guess Liquid Sol Fest is, in fact, happening on Nov. 2 at University of Phoenix...on the lawn. Yeah, the lawn that is used for tailgating during football season. Can't be good when you go from planning a three-day festival on a ranch to settling for a one-day festival on a patch of grass outside a football stadium.

that 'patch of grass' is pretty nice actually.
Yeah, I know it is. But compared to the sprawling site they originally wanted to hold the festival at, it's a patch of grass. They went from wanting to be a Coachella-like festival to probably being smaller than MMMF. Just who in the world have the booked for this "festival" is my question.
Nickleback. $20.
Oh, and uh....if that Depeche Mode 'guestlist' thing includes any kind of meet and greet, I'll be forever in your debt if you take me in with you. Been my favorite band for 20+ years and I've never gotten to meet them. Also, I think we're going to preparty somewhere before the show; there's absolutely nothing by Desert Sky, but we can maybe all meet at the Native New Yorker on 99th avenue and McDowell?
