GA floor tickets for Pearl Jam were only available through the Ten Club. I'm actually surprised they already started selling rear stage lower level tickets when it appears there are still plenty of seats available in the upper level.

I agree with this as well. I've actually moved from balcony to anywhere closer mid show more than once for the better energy (Not easy when tickets are assigned but possible sometimes). Seats can really kill a vibe at shows.

Footsteps, what are rear stage floor seats? Does that mean what it sounds like? On the floor watching the show with the bands back to you?

Not on the floor, in the lower level seats (sections 104-108 at Jobing), but you're right about everything else. It looks like the ones they're selling now are the corner sections, so just partially behind the stage. I've had those seats before for PJ (LA 1 in 2006 and MSG 1 in 2008) and they're actually not that bad. The band usually turns around plays a song to those seats (most of the time it's Last Kiss). Like I said, though, I'm surprised they're even selling those seats right now since last time I checked there were still upper level tickets available.

Maybe this should be its own thread since it's in Winslow, Arizona? Either way. A Saturday night up north sure sounds fun.

They had me at Cat Power. Cold Cave & Giorgio Moroder only sweeten the deal. Was supposed to be out of town, too, but I can't miss Cat Power again.

Considering enough to buy a ticket today. Are you thinking hotel or drive back? I see it ends fairly early. They say 5pm-10pm.

Just in case you want to spend the night in Winslow, I found a reasonably priced Quality Inn up there. With my employee discount, the total is like $62 (and you don't have to pay upfront). The QI looks pretty clean and has two queen beds. Most of the other hotels up there look pretty deplorable. And of course, the La Palmoa is all sold out already; I suspect all of the artists are staying there.

I would be disappointed if she canceled but it's not a huge deal to me. I'm interested to see other aspects of this besides the music and it's charity.

Her and Morrisey should book a tour together called "you'll be lucky to see us".

Hopefully it's due to people who, like Tom, thought that Beck was going to play AZ, and when they realize that he isn't, they look to sell their ticket(s).

Well shit, I didn't expect that. I figured Winslow + no Beck meant tickets would be available forever. Damn it.

She. She and Morrisey should book a tour together.. "She" is the third person singular feminine subjective pronoun. "She" is the subject of your sentence, so the subjective pronoun is appropriate. "Her" would be appropriate in objective uses, i.e., as the direct or indirect object of a verb, the object of a preposition, etc.

I go to community college, Tom. They don't spend time on correct pronoun use. It's mostly wood shop for people who lost a finger or limb in high school shop.

I'll be heading to Prescott for a day next week to catch a Califone house show. Is there anything particular I should check out in either Flagstaff or Prescott? I'm already planning on driving in pretty early to check out some of the natural areas like slide rocks.

I don't think anybody here is familiar with Prescott or Flagstaff. Sorry.

You're the guy I bought Louis CK tickets from at the beginning of the year, yeah? Cheers.

There's not much in Prescott other than Whiskey Row, and the casino.

Edit: Goldwater Lake is nice if you're looking for an easy day hike.
