That was really a no brainer for me since I go to Vegas often anyway. I was very excited to learn about this significantly cheaper set of shows not to mention a late night gig in Vegas sounds perfect.

If anyone has a line on coachella weekend 1 tix and lodging for face or lower lemme know.

Scratch the Coachella tickets. I have secured me one with onsite camping. I will be there weekend 1!

I have a ticket to Sigur Ros Friday April 12th. Front Row Balcony Section 202 Row 1. $50. It's a hard ticket if anyone is interested.

Also, 1 ticket to Postal Service Ticketfast ticket. Section 4 row 20. Less than face. $40. Hit me up if you are interested in either of these.

You may as well stop going to shows altogether, Jen.

Is anyone going to Of Montreal? I saw that Adrienne is going and I might buy a ticket too.

I went on Saturday and I had a great time. The crowd was well behaved. The beers were pretty cheap, you paid for $1 cup and re-used it for $5 refills. They had a bunch of vendors around the outside of the fence but I didn't check any out. They also had a kids area that looked cool. Tons of port-o-potties as well so no lines for those. The security was virtually non existent. Heartless Bastards were great, and so was Deer Tick. I stayed up front for a couple Deer Tick songs then moved to the back and played cornhole with some friends for the rest of the set. The Roots were pretty good, but I was tired so I left about midway through their set and was home by 10:30pm.

Who's going to Jeff Mangum tomorrow? We're heading to the Crescent directly from work. I hope doors open after the U of A beats Ohio State. Want to get a spot on the last row of the bleachers for this show.

I've been ordered to find a seat as close to a TV as possible. Will be there right around 5.

The Postal Service price change. 1 ticket is now $35 or willing to trade for 1 Foals ticket.

Oh yeah, I think I need to buy my Foals ticket still. Thanks for the reminder.

Nice seeing you, Mark and Mark, at Jeff Mangum last night. Timestretch Mark, thanks for the seats on the bleachers. Does your friend always talk so much & so loudly at shows? I felt like a hypocrite for not saying anything after having tapped on the shoulder of the girl in front of me & asking her and her friend, "Can you try NOT talking?" It was effective in that they shut up for the rest of that song, and when she turned around to tell me not to be an asshole (right, I was the rude one) and to next time ask politely, the people around us chimed in, "He DID ask you nicely." Then Jen told them, "Nobody gives a shit about your stupid lives. Shut the fuck up," and they vacated the premises a couple songs later.

The show was really good, too. Short, as expected, but closing with "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" was fantastic. I guess I didn't realize how good of a guitarist Mr. Mangum is. It was different enough seeing him in this setting than at Coachella, where he had the horns accompaniment on a couple of songs, and for the most part the singing along complemented his performance & wasn't obnoxious, as it can so often be. Felt lucky to have been there.

Both sets last night were completely different. He played everything in a different order and played 4-5 different songs. It made going to both sets completely worth it. I was up close for the first set and sat top row of the bleachers for the second set and noticed a lot more talkers up top than in the crowd.

During the second set the crowd seemed to be a lot more talkative/drunk and it was starting to get on my nerves until he played this:

The crowd went silent and remained respectful for the remainder of the set.

Jeff seemed a lot more relaxed during the second set, he smiled and interacted with the crowd a little bit more.
