Anyone seen them before? Just listened to the new album and now need to check out their old album.

I'm a little concerned about their set. I tend to burst into tears when I hear them. They seem more of a "driving alone in the rain" kind of band.
They put on a hell of a live show. Pretend their lyrics aren't about fucking someone just to stay warm and you will have a blast. I think they really kick it up a notch for festivals. Toe tappin' hand clappin' stuff. Can't wait.
I'm late to the party - Frightened Rabbit have gone from 'hear of but never heard' to 'can't get off my playlist' in a few short days. I'm hopeful and optimisitic that they will be an early day highlight for me on Saturday.
How did I miss two LPs and a live record?!?!?
looove Midnight Organ Fight. listen to it while driving on the open road drinking coffee all the time. theyre on my must see list.
They are great live. And to set the record staight, the new album is excellent and it's their THIRD LP. The first two are incredible as well. For those of you who don't like the new one make sure you grab a beer as I go apeshit qhwn they play The Loneliness and the Scream.

^ Right, right. I keep forgetting about Sings The Greys.
Without doubt...probably my top act of day even though I suspect they'll be on early in the day...To be honest, given that I could give a rat ass about any of Saturday's top of the bill acts, I personally feel Saturday Day will blow Saturday Night away...the bottom of the undercard for Saturday is just ridiculous...Girls, Beach House, Band of Skulls, White Rabbits, Frightened Rabbit, Flying Lotus, Camera Obscura, Old Crow Medicine Show, Corrine Bailey Rae...I'll take that action over Muse, Faith No More, Tiesto, MGMT any day of the week. (Though I am interested in seeing what kind of show Muse puts on).
Sweet jesus I know a lot of people are saying Sat is the weakest day, but the bottom lines on Saturday are downright sick... I thought that even before accounting for Frightened Rabbit being that day. The day time portion of Saturday is gonna be an absolutely beautiful headache.

HEAD ACHE.
I saw them twice last year. Great fucking band I will see them again barring a major conflict
Ok. Have listened to Winter Of The Mixed Drinks a few more times. I like it a bit more now. Still not great imo. But, for the record, there's not a single track on the album to "go apeshit" over. You must be very easily stimulated. If anything, Nothing Like You is the most up beat song.

and Fast Blood is amazing too. Can't fucking wait to see them again (and again a week later).
I'll need a hand to hold and a tissue or two when I see these guys, they send my heart a pitter-patter
I'm still waiting for the new one to grow on me. I don't think it sucks, but so far it is just ok in my ears. Either way I want to catch their set.
Saturday day is just ridiculous.
I've seen Frightened Rabbit a couple times. They put on a good show. I saw them last Fall with The Twilight Sad and We Were Promised Jetpacks... both are great bands.
If you're into Frightened Rabbit, there is a new band also out of Glasgow that is releasing their first album in late April that sounds promising from what's been released... they remind me of Frightened Rabbit quite a bit, but having a Scottish accent helps...
