I'm not a big fan of Mezzanine or 1015 and like the Mighty and Monarch much more for that type of thing. But I haven't really given Mezzanine or 1015 too many chances either.
I'm a sucker for Fillmore posters. Also a sucker for the cheaper beer prices at Indy. If we're counting Oakland though, I've had some good times at the Fox; that might be my favorite. Just a beautiful interior.

Royksopp & Robyn - June 28th, Bill Graham. Tickets on sale April 4th.
Yeah, I was hoping for the Greek, but this is acceptable.
Is there any way to avoid service fees for shows at bill graham?
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Devo perform the legendary, experimental music the band created between 1974-1977 in Akron Ohio! The tour is dedicated to the memory of Robert Casale, (A.K.A. Bob 2), one of the 5 original Devo band members who is now touring the universe. A portion of all proceeds from the tour will go to Bob Casale's family. This early Devo material was recently presented to the public with the Hardcore DEVO re-issues on vinyl & CD last year.
Yes! I know what my going away party will be.
the Jurassic 5 show at the greek isn't going to sell out in the first week, right? I am never good at predicting this stuff. since I am headed to the Fox next Wednesday for Neutral Milk Hotel I'd prefer to wait until then to get tickets and avoid fees.
Dont think anyone has mentioned Trentemoller is playing live at Ameoba this Sunday at 1:00.

What? No one likes the Mountain Goats?
I love the Mountain Goats.
Then aren't you in the wrong thread?
Take your IceyHotShot jokes elsewhere, SIR
I love the Mountain Goats, thanks so much for announcing these dates. It inspired me to search for a Denver tour date which I found out is happening!
AC/DC and Steely Dan? Why not just get a Don Henley project on the poster so my dad can bring his R/V, his fourth wife, and make a day out of the damn thing?

The Fox sells fee-free tickets to almost all Another Planet shows (I think excluding The Independent, which can only be bought at The Independent box office). I have purchased tickets to shows at Bill Graham, the Greek, etc. many times. They are open on Fridays and show nights 90 minutes before.
yeah, and most venues they make that clear, but oddly the Bill Graham link on apeconcerts.com doesn't provide info about ticketing. the event info page made that more clear, though.
I don't understand why they don't have all APE venues selling tickets to all APE shows.
continuing recent trends, Neutral Milk Hotel tickets for the Wednesday show have plummeted to as low as $18. Thursday still a little higher, Friday still near face value. again, feeling a bit ripped off that I got tickets when they went on sale.
Yep, me too. It goes to show how many scalpers are buying tickets to these things. APE, Live Nation, and whoever, are basically banking on the scalpers to generate additional shows for additional revenue. In the end it actually works out for the band (more shows) and people that gamble and wait to buy the tickets at lower prices. But it screws over the scalpers and people that are conscientious enough to buy the first show right when it goes on sale. You got to figure this is how its going to be until the scalpers realize its not a good business model.
I hope that isn't the case for the Knife, because I *might* be trying to sell my pair at face value if I see their full set at Coachella
