Having people to camp with/near is not really the point. Going to Coachella still costs way more than hitting up a few local shows, and driving means taking at least 2 days off from work for most of us.

Looks like none of my friends were able to get Green Day tickets =/. Time to pay a fortune on Stubhub.
and the portugal the man show that went on sale this morning is already sold out. wtf.
The whole new age Black Keys fans love portgual.the man(sp).

I am curious is the Warfield nice inside because it looks like crap from the outside? Also how is the sound?
Its nicer inside then what the surrounding areas suggests. There's definitely better venues in the bay area but if there is a show you really want to see, I'd say it's worth it. I've had some memorable shows there. It has some character. Sound is fine but not great.

Yeah, got a GA ticket. Just got into SF![]()
Thats awesome! Pretty hefty price but I will definatley be going to this before I head out for coachella.
Also Dillinger Escape Plan is playing the DNA lounge on may 19th. Will be interesting seeing them there I guess, but its dillinger so itll be crazy no matter how shitty the club is.
Inside is fine...maybe even interesting, given the posters/history.
Sound can be spotty up close (usually because it's just too loud). If you aren't happy with the sound, move towards the sound board or just under the balcony on the floor. That is the room's sweet spot.
