You only need a festival wristband to enter the camping area. A camping pass gets you a camping spot, but multiple people can share the same spot.

Stupid question here.... are electric grills that you plug into your car ok? Technically it's not propane, but it's obviously not much of a fire hazard. Thanks in advance.
That's a tough one. It makes sense to allow it but I think it would depend on the individual security guard. If they said No you would risk having to give up your grill. There's really no way to know in advance.
That's what I was thinking. Thanks.
What time do the Head liners usually end? When do the stages shut down for the night and people go back to the camp sites.
If you tightened your bracelet too tight before you put it in your wrist (because you are a stupid idiot) is there an outside fixing station? I know there was last year.
are you allowed to go in and out of the venue if you have a VIP wristband?
Will we be searched upon entry to the shuttles? As in, when we get picked up?
I don' think so - sounds like you get searched when you get off and again when you go into the festival.
I can't seem to figure out what a shuttle pass is. Thanks for your help
Shuttle passes let you ride shuttles. The shuttles are buses that leave from various locations and take you to the festival, and then back again to wherever you started. Major advantage is no driving and easier access, without having to deal with traffic. There are different shuttle lines so pick the one that best suits you, and make sure you understand the restrictions (parking availability, some of them you have to be a registered guest at a motel, etc.). Most shuttle lines are still available for Weekend 2, or check the Passes forum for people selling extras. Click the link for details and a map.

Why would you be searched when you get off a shuttle? That's like searching you before going into day parking. Kind of weird.
How much are the Emek Coachella posters? I read $250 but I find that hard to believe.
QUESTION RELATED TO COACHELLA: How can I print out or make a schedule of the bands I want to see on the site? I don't get how it works. The page with the names, where you can plus or minus each artist? : / I want to get around to see every artist I like and I need advice on how to do it so I don't miss anyone. Thanks!! : )
Because someone could get off the shuttle and spend hours in the Camping area, and then enter the festival. It would be different if the shuttles dropped you inside the festival area, but they don't. I guess day parkers could do this too though.
I remember the Emek stuff being expensive but not sure how much. It might be signed/numbered/limited edition stuff.
Not sure what you are talking about - the Coachooser app? Not sure that's still available (never use it but can't find it now.) I just print the set times until I get the little book.
This guy made some pdfs and an Excel spreadsheet - http://www.coachella.com/forum/showt...-Series-Friday
I'm new on the forum and wanted to ask a few questions that I didn't have any success finding...
1) How far is the general (free) parking from the gates?
2) Can I take alcohol inside my car (whiskey and beer) and snacks to be left inside the car?
3) I was thinking of taking a mini mist fan, is this allowed?
Thanks in advanced.

1. Anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes depending on which lot.
2. Yes you can, do not take glass. Last year we were having a couple of drinks before we went in and they were going to kick us out until we poured it into plastic cups.
3. It should be, unless you get a dick security.
Quick question about crowds on the different stages: How soon should I expect to arrive for a night show (Justice, for example) on the main stage? I've been seeing these guard rail-separating things that divide the crowd up and am not sure how these things work/how to get a close spot. Any help?
There's no glass in camping. There are a few "good beer in cans" threads on here.
There's really no glass anywhere, and they take this really seriously.
Parking is wherever they tell you to go.
You can take whatever you want. If they catch you with glass they will get pissed. If you must take glass be sure to pour anything into plastic cups. And don't throw that shit anywhere on the fields. Take the empty bottles back to the hotel and dump them there.
Well technically I don't think you're supposed to drink/tailgate in the parking lot but if you're discreet and use plastic cups you could probably drink whatever. Cars are not searched going into the parking lot. Also, I'm not sure what order they fill the Day parking lots but I'm sure earlier is closer.
Sorry if this is repeating previous questions -
We are staying in Palm Springs, I am assuming we should cough up the cash & shuttle it in ?
Can we bring in a few drinks if we do shuttle in ?
